Best burrito in town with an excellent service. The price can be overwhelming with the size of their burrito but it's well worth the pay. I also see a lot of people ordering concha. Though I never tried it, it looks appetizing and its definitely on my list.
Whether it's dine in or take out, they serve every order with tortilla chips and a tasteful red salsa. Finding parking can be difficult during lunch hours but the side streets are always availabe.

Trad'r Sam
Category: Dive Bars
Neighborhood: Outer Richmond
As far as I rememeber, I had a blast on my first visit. After bragging to my friends how fantastic this place was, I pretty much made myself look like a toad. We went on a Friday night and this place was filled with college kids and a few birthday celebrants. I can see how this place can be overwhelming for first timers due to the limited space Trad'r Sam has to offer. However, the drinks will always stay on top. I mean come on, what other local bars will serve mix drinks by the fish bowl? Their drinks are cheap, and the amount of the alcohol is just right. My suggestions, come early so you can get a table or a spot at the bar.
I must say, not bad for a Club/Lounge in the valley (coming from a guy who's used to partying in big cities).
A cutting edge facility that is perfect for entertainment. On the main dance floor, the ceiling is virtually invisible providing enough space for everything from superb lighting effects to dancer stages. With Hip-Hop driving the mood, guests can expect to leave Fat Cat dripping with sweat and thoroughly exhausted, if leaving this club happens to cross their mind. Lots of nicely dressed women wanting to be seen (mostly local asians with blonde hair) and the price for beverages are decent.
+1 for friendly staff (especially the bartender chick who makes me want to sing the T-Pain song)
+1 for the venue (like I said, not bad at all for a Lounge/Club in the valley)
+1 for the amount of alcohol in the mix drinks (caught myself on the dance floor like wtf!)
-1 for the cover charge (I expect no cover charge since I'm going to be spending $$$ at the bar)
-1 for the annoying MC who kept ruining the music (If I was the DJ, I would've kicked that guy off the stage. This is not a Hip-Hop concert)

Gelato Classico Italian Ice Cream
Category: Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt
The ony gelateria in Fremont tucked in a quaint corner right next to the Market Broiler. I've been a patron of this place for quite sometimes that I don't remember when the first experience occurred. They offer 24 different flavours of gelato that greets and tempts you, in an instant, you will be on a sugar coma. Delectable true gelato that gives this place its name and puts it on the map.
The atmosphere here is great and the staff is friendly and helpful. Sampling is allowed, and even encouraged, so do not hesitate to ask to ask for a taste before you decide what to order.

I always give thumbs up for bars that has no cover charge. However, 2 forms of I.D is ridiculous. There's a lot of great places in downtown San Jose, and the Loft is not the best. The venue has two floors. The main bar and the restroom is located on the first level and the main dance floor is on the second level. Things upstairs don't get going until late, but once they do you can count on great music (depending on what day and the DJ). The only negative thing that I have to say about this place and the reason why I'm giving it 2 stars is because the dance floor area is so small that it gets really crowded to the point where you can smell a penetrating odor.
The venue looked a lot cooler/bigger on the internet and once again, me, I've experienced better.

This freeway is public's enemy number 1! So much stuff going on, most popular for it's crazy accidents and constructions that causes the traffic. Try to avoid this freeway, especially when there's a Raider, A's, or Warriors Game. But then again, you cant take the back roads forever lol! So for all of the East Bay natives, were stuck with the slow drivers, fast drivers, those who has road rage drivers, and drunk drivers.

OK... So buffets have variety right????.... but you'll never have variety as expansive as Pacific Buffet. An A-OK selection of not so good sushi, Chinese dish and sea foods. Even deep fried frog legs! Their prawns were always good, and the noodle station is delightful. One of the main attraction of this restaurant is the chocolate fondue fountain.
Make sure you walk in with a ravenous appetite and a few extra notches to spare in your belt.

I realized that Sushi House isn't one of the "cool" sushi places to go to these days, but our last experience there was pretty outstanding. I have spent lots of time in various Asian restaurants and some of them are pretty shady (but delicious). Sushi House is like any island cafe you might find in a strip mall in Hawaii, but the food is amazing. My party and I shared the Lion King roll, Bay scallop, Crunchy roll, and Orange blossom. They were all good, tasteful and we enjoyed it.
Depending on day and time, this place can get busy. The staff seemed friendly but dis-interested and I never recognized any of them. The service was less than expected and though the restaurant was fairly busy I would have hoped for better.

Me and a group of friends decided to go here so we could drink and have a good time. When we got there it didn't look that bad, I actually thought this place was alright with the music they were playing at first, until the open mic douches started taking over the stage.
The bartender was quick with the service and the amount of alcohol that comes with the mixed drinks is just right. Now the washroom is pretty small and there is only 2 stalls. The dance floor is not that roomy so it can get crowded and starts smelling like hot sweat.
The fact that there is no dress code and I CAN WEAR MY GIANTS FITTED HAT makes this place awesome!
Overall, I find my experience A-OK

With the portion they serve for a not so bad price, I have nothing to complain about.
