Once I had a complex process of moving my phone off an account to a company account. I was assured it wasn't that complex. I was told that I'd still be able to access the other phones through my web account afterward, which turned out untrue. The phone that was moved to the company account was moved to the wrong company, and when I discovered this they wouldn't fix the mistake until that other company confirmed it.
Another occasion of moving a phone to a company account when it was the only phone on the account, left me with an account that I could no longer access online, but had a balance that AT&T started sending me past due notices for. I eventually had to call customer support to resolve this account.
The last phone I bought here was a Tilt. Less than a year later I needed a replacement battery, but they no longer supported the Tilt.
On my most recent visit, after waiting through the queue, I was told that this store wouldn't sell me a phone at the "no commitment" price and would only sell me a phone for my existing account if I renewed my contract. I was able to do this at another store, albeit after the representative there confirm with a supervisor and I had pre-confirmed with a AT&T online chat representative.
A few days ago I stopped back by this store after buying that phone, an HTC Inspire, to buy screen protectors. However, they were out of these.
I can't recall a good experience at this store.
