They're good there.
They special order CDs and on Tuesdays I sometimes I ask http://twitter.co... if some CD I'm looking for is out and they let me know. That little extra touch really makes them extra special. Also, they do contests over twitter all the time. FREE TICKETS.
I went to Every Day Music and Half-Price Books this week. Neither, as far as I could tell, has used CDs for $9. That said, the $9 used CDs at Easy Street are rare, and the service / selection / ambiance / etc there are great. They're still the best.
Easy Street Records in West Seattle, I adore you so don't take it the wrong way when I remove a star.
Just... the fact that you have some used CDs going for $9 makes me crazy.
I couldn't be happier with this place.
I've been here... 20 or more times since I moved here earlier in 2008.
I've filled my punch card for a free CD twice now (that's 30 CDs purchased there so far!).
The staff gets into conversations with me about music, they make recommendations, everyone's friendly, and the music selection is HAPPENIN'.
I just said "happenin," folks. That's how I feel about it.
I LOVE YOU EASY STREET W. SEATTLE.

Maybe this is my favorite pho place.
I think it might be.
They don't have anything special they throw into the broth-- in fact, I sometimes miss the mushrooms they use over at the cheap place. BUT the service is always nice, the vegetarian pho has this lightly sweetened vegetable broth-- it's SO GOOD. yum.
I feel like going there right now.

Arcane Comics. Why did you have to come West Seattle!?
My wallet is getting lighter. My bank account, emptier.
I feel helpless.
Arcane Comics is a great little comic shop that somehow manages to have everything I could ever want comic-book wise within its four walls.
The dude that works there is totally friendly and knowledgeable and I've already started my box there, to save my favorite books each week.
Hooray for comics!
boo for the continuing increases on their cover-prices!

I got stuck at the Tsawwassen Ferry terminal having arrived late and missed my ferry. My wife contacted Quality and explained my situation, that I was stuck in Vancouver without a place to stay. They offered her a surprisingly low price.
The as I drove over, I wondered what kind of roach motel my wife had found for the price offered, and what I found was quite nice. After driving for roughly 6 hours, I was exhausted and the girl at the front desk, Betty, was super nice. She even charged up my ipod for me. The room itself was quite cold at first because it was a corner room with a lot of windows, but the heater took care of that in time. Everything was clean, they had cable TV, there was a newspaper at my door in the morning, and they had a free breakfast (that I didn't care for at all, but it's nice to know it's there).
I'm grateful to this place and its employees for helping me out of a jam.
