So many options here. And it's all good. From the food to the service, they are great! For two to groups, every time I've come the nail it. Plus, unlike some other Shabu places in Chinatown, they allow you to split your pot, so you can try different broths. Definitely give it a try.

I went here yesterday after being turned away from a couple other nail places in Stoneham as a walk-in for a pedi. Nice people. Turned out decent. No hard sell, no anything as others have said. A bit more expensive than I had hoped but, overall a good experience.

Pricey but omg, tasty. I got their Corned Beef which they make themselves. Delish!! Also tasty potato salad and coleslaw. Co-diners got massive 3-decker sandwiches that were crazy huge. Crazy. Good quality and quantity. I really wanted to try everything on the menu.

Husband bought me a sewing machine from this store, and when I opened it up, it had no cord. So basically it was a paperweight worth hundreds of dollars. I called to see if they had it in stock and what could be done. It was found and the person on the phone was helpful and friendly. When I went in to pick up the part, she wasn't there anymore and some other woman was there. She tried to be helpful, but also never asked me who it was I spoke to. Instead she called another worker or owner or someone who said I had to PAY FOR THE PART THAT WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE BOX THAT WAS SOLD TO ME.

I really had no choice but to buy it since it's essential to make the sewing machine work. I mean, this is not some human powered device.

The reasoning they gave me was utter bullshit too. I was told that the manufacture wouldn't have given them the part for free. Um, but it wasn't in the box that they shipped them with the rest of the machine. Excuse me?

Besides the fact that my husband got ripped off because he was got given what he paid for--a sewing machine with ALL THE NECESSARY PIECES TO MAKE IT FUNCTION ON A MOST BASIC LEVEL....and then the fact that I got ripped off having to pay $50 for something that I really had no choice to do because IT WAS NECESSARY TO MAKE IT FUNCTION...I will never ever give them any business or refer anyone to this store ever.

Perhaps this would have made me less angry, frustrated and dissatisfied if i heard this kind of excuse from Wal-mart or some other major corporate store. But I'm sorry, but when you're a small business your reputation is majorly impacted by those who you serve, because word of mouth is much more important to you. I bet wal-Mart might have even had been a better experience. Show owner comment »

Mexico Lindo

This place reminded me of the Mexican restaurants in LA. Loud decor, loud ambiance. I had been trying to find a Mexican place since moving to the area, so I was very happy to come across Mexico Lindo on Yelp.

Of course, the reviews were all over the place. But, generally it was good.

We headed over on a weekend evening around 6pm. Granted it was a holiday weekend, it was nice to not have to wait for a table.

We were seated and handed a menu. A while later, water was brought...then chips and salsa. Then we waited a little bit, and were then asked if we wanted a drink. I got the Mango Margarita, he got the Sangria. Both were tasty and well poured.

Again, we waited for the waiter to come back and take our order. Although, that wasn't a terrible thing as their menu is rather expansive and I had gone in craving a good taco...and then I was hit with a bit of a conundrum.

In the end, I went for a combo plate of a chile relleno, chicken enchiladas, and a beef taco. He went for the Red Snapper dish. I also ordered a side of guacamole.

As we noshed on the guac, which was pretty good although could have had more garlic. It was more of a traditional style, being almost completely smooth instead of chunky. It started to fill up...and get a bit noisy, but nothing horrible. We eyed some of the other dishes as they came out and everything looked good.

Finally, our food came, and we tucked in. One of my main tests of a Mexican restaurant is their relleno. It can easily be greasy, too cheesy, gross cheesy, etc. This one was pretty darn good. The taco was tasty too, without a ton of grease falling out of it. And my enchilada was pretty good, with a decent amount of chicken. He adored his Red Snapper dish, which was a whole Snapper fried (and crispy so guessing it had a slight batter on it) and topped with a salsa of tomato, cilantro, and onion. Both our dishes were served with rather large portions of rice, beans and some sort of slaw like dish.

Overall, I'd say the service was a little slow, but we really weren't in a rush so that was fine. The food was great. I'm curious to try a few more dishes to see how those fare but this might just end up being my place for Mexican food. And all thanks to Yelp. Aww!

An awesome array of glass plates using a method that dates back to Egyptian times. Friendly staff, and they will even ship your purchase, if you so desire. A classic Cape destination and product.

We stopped in to check out the pottery here and spent a bit of time chatting with one of the owners/potters. He explained the process that they use and showed us some pictures from their portfolio. They have a few glazes that I love, including a copper patina glaze that is awesome. I probably could have blown a lot of money in this little shop but we left with only a cool frog mirror in the copper patina. I will be back for more!

Quantity is what you get here. HUGE plates of tasty food. Great coffee too. The Irish sausages are delicious, and the homefries are amazing. The waitresses were very friendly and must get a good workout carrying plates that have to weigh over 2 pounds a piece. My two eggs with homefries, 3 Irish sausages was enough to feed 2-3 people. I also got a scone which was tasty and eaten as recommended with marmalade. Yum! I wanted to try the rashers but...I had enough food as it was. Hubby got the Irish Benny, which had corned beef hash with the Eggs Benedict. He said it was very tasty.

They also have a little shop around the back where you can find Irish and English goodies (like Curly Wurlys! and Prawn flavored crisps), Irish bangers to take home with you and other Irish trinkets.

Breakfast is served until 2pm. Bring your appetite!
