You got to try their tomato base hot and sour soup!

The other dish are good but the soup keep having me coming back. It's  my favorite hot and sour soup in the Bay Area.

Great location too, right next the Balboa Theater.

I was quite happy when this place first open. Let's face it there are that many places to go in Pacifica. If this place is half decent I would be very happy.

If was that at first just okay.  The crepe and sandwich was okay but not outstanding.  Just when I thought we had a somewhere in Pacifica to go to on a semi regular base, the following happen.

I had their dessert crepe one night and had the worst stomach ache couple hours later in years.

I haven't been back since.  This an real disappointment. I do hope they get better. Pacifica need better eats.

Mr. Fong/Tai Wu BBQ and Noodles

Great hole in the wall Chinese BBQ, if you can over look couple small things.

okay, this is not a place to take your first date.  When you first walk in you are greeted the sight of a whole bunch of raw poultry and pork in the kitchen being process for BBQ.  That alone will turn a lot people off. Me, I think "I must order some BBQ"

Also the services are very spotty: bad when they are busy, okay when during off hours.

If you don't mind the two things I just mentioned.  You are in for a treat for some good Chinese BBQ at a very reasonable price.

The BBQ pork, duck, and beef ribs are very good.  Along with the hand made noodle it's a real winner.

I definitely will come here often.

A great blend of cali-asian food

Must tries are:
1. Brussel sprouts,  probably the best I ever had
2. Ginger chicken noodle,

The downside is the place is extremely small. If you don't call ahead for reservation you should order to go.  We did go on a Tuesday 5pm right at when they just open and there were plenty of open sit.

We also had the spicy pork skin noodle soup, short rib.  These two dishes are quite good. The baby back rib is also very good.

Good place to go if you want to try something new.

Enjoy Vegetarian Restaurant

Okay, this place is so good.  I'm fantasizing buying  the house across the street from it so I can eat there everyday.

There are tons of Chinese vegetarian restaurants in SF.  This one in my humble opinion the best.  We went there 3 weeks ago and  had returned 3 times.  After every meal there I became a happy man again.

Everything is fresh, the food comes fast and the staffs are friendlier than most Chinese restaurant.  So far  all the entrees  we ordered are great, especially entrees with sauce.

Our favorites so far, and there are many more to try:
Coconut sauce Taro and Pumpkin
Curry Taro,
Gold Knot.
Spinach and Pine Nut fried rice.

The best vegetarian Indian food in California!

We live in the Bay Area and we love vegetarian Indian food so our standard is pretty high.  However, Mehek Pujab is the best.

Thanks for fellow Yelpers we found this place. Able to find places like this is what Yelp is all about!

Everything is great! The price is extremely reasonable.  We had 2 drink, garlic naan, and 2 dishes and rice.  The whole thing only cost us $23 and we had plenty to take home after the meal.

the garlic naan is awesome.  we took some home and it taste every better the next day!

The mango lassi is great. we also love the Masala Dosa.

This is a must go in Fresno.

I love the sandwiches from Colombo.  The best in Pacifica. Their bread are made in house and they are great!  Be prepared to wait in line when you go. It's a take out place so find some where nice to have a picnic after you got your food.

Greasy, pricey,

For $14  I had small chicken sandwich, very greasy garlic fries that is over cooked and a fountain soda drink.

I guess this place is some sort of cool teenager hang out with the "hip" urban art on the wall and hip music and the teenagers that work there.

If this is what their idea what "urban eat" is I guess I'm not that hip.

Cafe Marika

Comfort food for a chilly day.

Cafe Marika is small place. You'll miss it if don't look for it.  I'm glad I didn't. I don't know much about Hungarian food, but I imagine this what Hungarian comfort food is like

I had their Hungarian Goulash dinner.  It came with soup, entree and dessert.  The soup was some sort of spicy meat soup, very warm very tasty.  Perfect for a cold winter day.  The Goulash came with pork, home pasta and some pickles. The pork was very tender. homemade pasta was soft. and the pickle is fresh.  The entree was simple but very balance in taste. The best for of the dinner was the dessert,  homemade apple strudel.  When I told the chef how wonderful it is.  He pointed his finger to the waitress and said "she made it". It was so tasty I order one to go. The whole meal with an apple strudel was only $15, what a deal!

Another thing, their bathroom is spotless, can't remember another restaurant this clean ever.

I definitely will come back here again .

Make sure to bring cash , they don't take credit card.
