I was here for the St. Ignatius Class of 1945 reunion yesterday (my dad's reunion, not mine~) and had a great time. What a step back in time! Great building right off of Mission with it's own parking lot right across the street. As other reviews have said, a bit outdated but not shabby. I'd love to come here for a crab feed or dinner. It's places like this that help make SF what it is. Give it a try!

I love this place again. I loved it years ago and then it went down hill but it's back. Just after the ownership change a couple of years ago, I thought the place was a goner but it's slowly worked it's way back.

Was there to watch football today and couldn't help but notice the cheap beers (plentiful selection), wonderful server and the usual large numbers of high quality TVs pumping out NFL action. The food is about the same at it ever was but frankly, I never had a problem with it. Anyone who goes to a sports bar expecting the food to be much better than it is at The Rockhouse is destined for a life of crushing disappointments. I think it's quite good for sports bar food.

It's always a fun crowd and has a light airy feel to it. Jen, our server, was fantastic and good humored and fine with the fact that we were going to take up a table for more than 3 hours while very slowly eating a couple of plates of chicken wings and some potato skins. Touchdown!

I'm going 2 stars for the food and the other 3 for the flat panel screens, the friendly staff, the friendly customers and the friendly beer.  This is one of the best places to watch football EVER. It's not full of tiresome frat boys. It's full of real people having a really good time. Yes, they have Anchor Steam beer. Thanks for asking.

Come on Sunday with an out of town football jersey on and go nuts. Also, good kids menu if that rings any bells. I'm with the annoying blonde in the powder blue charger #21 jersey. Go anchor steam!

Across the street from my office which I'm guessing means more to me than you. Excellent parking options, nice open space, posh full bar. The food was excellent. We had a large group and they were spot on in delivering food, clearing dishes and asking for drink orders. Beware if you order prawn dishes. The prawns are unpeeled and you will work hard for you dinner. It was a little too well lit for my taste. Some dimming would have set the mood for a nice place like this a bit better.

If you're near SCU and are looking for some good Thai, give it a try!

East of Greenville Road (and Kent/LaRochelle) are still the best bets for Livermore wine. Came back to Bent Creek today after a great day at Steven Kent and McGrail and finally joined the wine club here. Beautiful property, nice people and really good wine. Also, this place has the best ports in Livermore. My favorite was the Zin port.

One of my favorites. The best Livermore wineries (with a couple of notable exceptions) are in East Livermore. Bent Creek has some pretty good wines and they pour in a friendly environment. Great Zin and a nice port as well.

Finally did the Premier tasting last week and had a great time. The Premier tasting is done at a nice dining room table. We were seated with two other couples and had a blast. There is cheese, nuts, fruits and nibbles that are meant to prepare you for the next wine. You're paying for wine, not lunch.

This is higher end Livermore wine tasting and it was fabulous. I purchased a $75 bottle of one of the wines we had. Our server was good humored and very knowledgeable about the wines. Kent, and the sister winery La Rochelle are gems. There is a tasting fee and it's not great if you're looking to blow through for free sips but if you're serious about reds and in a frame of mind where you can focus on some great wine, Steven Kent remains a "MUST VISIT".

New set up in the tasting room. There is a charge for tasting and it is now done at small tables with some minimal cheeses, etc. We had a very charming and knowledgeable server. You can pay an extra charge to try Steven's new Premier cab.

Also new, a fancy reservation-only Premier tasting. Will try that next.

The best wine in Livermore. The cabernet is fantastic. The tasting room has a rustic charm to it. The folks who work there are very friendly. There are only a few Livermore wineries that stand with Napa's and this is one of them. They also have several wine clubs that are nice and well-run and occasionally, events.

I was looking for lunch and decided to treat myself to a sit down, no guy in a paper hat real lunch. I drive by this place every morning on my way to work and it's packed beyond belief. I thought that's I'd have better luck for lunch. Well, it was still pretty packed but I couldn't wait for a table so I sat at the counter. They're open from 7 am to 3 pm and serve the entire menu the whole time. Even though it was lunchtime, the chorizo scramble was singing to me. While I waited, I wanted to change my order ten times. Everything that came up looked fabulous (note to self: steak sandwich~). My scramble was marvelous. I asked for a side of very well done hash browns and they showed up burnt beyond recognition. No star deduction because it was exactly what I asked for. I'm so used to ordering that and having them show up barely brown in other places. Now I know they take your order seriously! If you don't like the food here, you weren't really looking for diner food. Also, they do serve beer and wine in addition to mimosas and bloody marys. Service was quick and friendly. This place is a find!

Went to the lunch boofay. Less than $11 for really tasty food (and it was really wonderful) is worth more than 5 stars. Everyone was friendly. The odd thing was that it seemed like the only beverage choice was water. No beer. No soda. And no knives that I saw. I had to go all McGyver and cut my Chicken Marsala with a fork and a soup spoon. Also, a few too many mirrored surfaces for my taste. It was a little like eating great Indian food in the fitting room at Macy's. But that said, I'll be back many times.

Found this place on Yelp. It's practically on the SCU campus. The carnitas burrito was fantastic. They have Coke products as fountain drinks, Mexican sodas in bottles and Mexican beer. There's quite a bit of seating. Very solid place with great tasting food. Minus one star for the lack of anyone wiping tables at lunch and, most annoyingly, they don't give numbers or take names. The shout the name of the food item they're putting on the counter. It was a little dicey figuring out which order was mine. Good place though. I'll be back.

The best coffee. Period. The lunches are great. The staff is wonderful. I'm an old timer and thought adding the deli would kill what was a great coffee shop. I was wrong. Go there for a great coffee drink in the morning and come back at lunch. Ollie rocks.
