Tortilleria Mexicana Los Hermanos
Category: Mexican
Neighborhood: Bushwick
I originally learned about Los Hermanos from my TV friend Anthony Bourdain and let me tell you, he did me well.
My good friend on the West Coasts holds up Taco trucks like nobodies business, so I will one up him and say that eating a factory makes everything better.
The tacos are great. However I wish that there was a crispy option. The ingredients are wicked fresh, and full of flavor.
If you want to drink a cold beer with your food, your best bet is to bring your own brown bag of refreshment as there is no alcohol served here.
Do not let the prices fool you, it is value at it's best...meaning for the first time we went..we ordered way too much food, it was almost a crime.
We really liked the hush puppies and definitely sampled much of the menu.
While this place was a great time and had great food, it is a place you say you went to. It doesn't come across as a place that I would visit frequently.

We sat at the window and everyone was extremely helpful. The food was a party in the mouth for sure. We shared several dishes and enjoyed it immensely.
Definitely coming back soon. This is a new favorite for sure.

BrainWash Cafe & Laundromat
Categories: Dry Cleaning & Laundry, Comedy Clubs, Sandwiches
Neighborhood: SOMA
When in San Francisco, I am usually stopping here on my way from LA and have a couple of issues. 1) Dirty clothes that I don't want to send off through the hotel 2) It's late and I want some thing low key to do. For this, Brainwash is perfect for me.
Food is great and reasonably priced. Their WiFi is free and wicked fast. The people here are very nice, both staff and patrons. I definitely look forward to stopping by whenever I am in town.

The big room is great. Sound system is tight. There is plenty of room to get your groove on and the crowd (at least the night I was there) didn't seem to bother me much.

This restaurant is awesome. Whilst in a strip mall, it still maintains some ambiance that one would expect for such a great meal.
My friend and I ordered several appetizers and some dishes for mutually beneficial experience.
If you dig the swine + wine, this place is for you! I also want to give this place mad props for their Mac and Cheese as well as its ability to make me crave lentils.
Date

Is it the ice cream?
Is it the fact that I am a sucker for the petting zoo?
Is it the amount of fun I have?
Either way, it is always a good time for sure.
