Just called for an estimate on a fix for a broken thermal couple. They quoted $150-175 and a fix within the hour. Then, the salesman tried to upsell me on a new water heater (mine is 15 years old) for $1200, cause the old model was "running on borrowed time".

30 minutes after the scheduled appointment, he called to tell me that he had no troubles communicating w/ the car and it was smog-ready. Somehow, the smog-test station failed.
No charge at all.
I went a second time for some transmission problems. No bullshit, just fair service with a smile.
I HIGHLY recommend them for all your German car needs and a second opinion if you feel you are being cheated elsewhere.
