I have to downgrade my rating for a 4 for the salon.
Amy gets 5 stars as a stylist, but they have a receptionist there that is so rude I cringe whenever I have to make an appointment or pay for my services. The stylists seem uncomfortable with how rude he is with the customers. I have no idea why he is still there. I hope he's not the owner.
I have an appointment there tomorrow and I plan to mention it as he's really bringing the salon down. -

I love this place. I'm very picky about salons. This is the one place where I will see ANY stylist because they are all great. I've never had a miss. They're prompt, excellent service, talented stylists, and they don't try to pimp product. Most important, when you say you only want 1/4" off, they don't' try to get cute and cut off more or give you a silly lecture about how your hair will grow faster the more you cut it as if it's alive.
Only downside --remember to bring your cash. They do not take any credit cards.
For the return trip to the airport, the driver showed up in a town car and announced that I'd be riding with two other passengers. If I had known this I could have taken a much less expensive shuttle or ridden for free with a friend who was leaving a bit later.
They did not send a bigger car either. Our luggage was stuffed in the trunk and I ended up having to sit with the driver up front.
And of course they expected the full fare from each person!
The worst part for me was that he acknowledged that they will sometimes "combine" pickups and do not tell people, who might then make alternate reservations, in advance.
Also this was not at peak drive time when they might be short of drivers.
I would not use this company at all if you need a ride guaranteed to show up. If you want to travel alone there are other town car companies in town. If you want to share space, you can get a more spacious shuttle for less.

Wanted to update the review to talk about Amy who has been my regular stylist for the last couple years (at least). As some of you likely know, red is really hot right now -and really hard to have done well on your hair. Amy does an excellent job. My last red had multi layers of vibrant colors that stayed in until my next touch up (a rarity for red which rinses out easily). She also did my perm which is very -not- 80's.
I would recommend her to anyone, but especially if you have challenging hair or need something "complicated" done (color fixed, perm, etc.)
