I ordered lunch today from your location. This is the second time I've gotten subs from you and have been totally impressed by the efficiency and friendliness of your crew. It's refreshing to see employees who work well together and don't seem annoyed at having to speak to and help a customer. I dare say that your people take pride in their work and THAT breeds customer loyalty. It really does.
Not only was I impressed with your staff, but your establishment was neat and clean looking and the food was really excellent. My aunt and grandmother both commented that the sandwich was really good - they split a ham, salami and tomato sub. My husband was pleasantly surprised by the Chipotle cheese steak and my picky 20 month old gobbled up a good portion of it herself. Both my mom and dad enjoyed the Tuna sub they shared and I got the impression their deli around the corner is about to start missing them.
Thank you for lunch, we really enjoyed it!
All the best,
Lisa Mazzuca

Details for yelp - They have a handful of tables to eat in, and it's clean and open inside. We called in our order of 5 1/2 subs and picked it up within 20 minutes, but they let us know it would be ready in 15.
Vinnie's is my FAVORITE, all time FAVORITE pizza in North Brick. Period. The texture and flavor of the crust and the blend of sauce that hasn't changed in 20 years, are a couple of reasons why. I just love it.
The new location, right across the street from the old one, is really beautiful. You can see the staff preening proudly behind the granite counters (as they should, it's been a long time coming) as they take orders, prepare the pies, package and plate the food for the guests in their rustic new dining room, for takeout and for delivery.
We ordered a large plain pie (see my opinion above), sweet marinara muscles and rigatoni puttanesca. The rigatoni wasn't al dente, but it wasn't smoosh either, and though it was pretty salty it was VERY tasty. The capers burst when you bit them and I got pieces of tender garlic, real Italian olives (not canned black olives) and even anchovies in the portion I split with my Mom.
I picked up 3 menus tonight and I think the family agrees - we'll be back!
I got a burger with Gorgonzola cheese on it. The burger was actually done "medium" which is what I asked for but which rarely happens when I order it at a restaurant - they usually come to me well done.
The cheese tasted a little like goat's milk, but I'm pretty sure that's just what gorgonzola tastes like.
The BEST part was the desert we ordered. The Creme Brule was seriously the best dessert I've ever gotten out to eat. It was delicious and had the crispy sugar coating on top that you know they used one of those hand held torches to create. Ohhhh, it was delightful - and reasonably affordable. We had a good time.
I got wonton / eggdrop soup - it came as expected and I liked it.
I also got the vegetable delight combination plate (with an eggroll and pork fried rice) and it was really delicious. The singapore rice noodles were a little bland and dry, not really the way I like them, but the food was hot and fast, reasonably priced and packaged well for delivery.
Dr. wood got me through 2 years of braces in middle school, extracted 2 baby teeth for me (because I didn't have adult teeth under them to push them out) and drilled and filled 2 cavities for me. He's great and benevolent. I like him a lot.
My favorite hygienist is Liz - she is very gentle when she cleans your teeth and I always have lots of tartar. I hate the scraping, but she is so careful.
All the folks who work there are just lovely. Go see Dr. Wood!
My son was 2 1/2 when he got it done and they gave him a liquid medicine to drink (noctek) I think they called it to make him feel "drunk" so they could do the work. It was kind of hard to get him to drink the "medicine" because it really smelled gross, but he did it and soon he was feeling pretty loopy. We did have to strap him down to a board to make sure he was still during the procedure, but I was there the whole time and he was really compliant while they did it. He started getting uncomfortable toward the end, but they finished up beautifully and I was surprised how quickly they were able to do the work.
The ladies in the office were very nice and good with kids. Lots of praise for the boy, but they were confident and firm with what they expected of my son. The Dr. didn't seem confident with children at all, which surprised me because he's an older gentleman who's been at this for a long time. When he described the procedure, in front of my son, he was very wishy washy about it. "We'll have to see how it goes... sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't... I hope we'll be able to get through it...."
I wish he would have been confident and positive in front of the baby and then let me know his reservations about it without my son being able to hear. I'm glad we had the problem taken care of, but I don't think he will be our regular pediatric dentist.
