Fiesta Grill is the former "Tradiciones" next to the Ranch Market at 16th St. and Roosevelt.   We stopped in for lunch today and it was a great experience.   The service was terrific, the decor was authentic and the food was outstanding.   We started with chips, Salsa and been dip, all of which were very tasty.  I had the combo fajitas which included skirt steak and chicken, one of my companions had the same with the addition of shrimp and another had burrito. Everything was accompanied by homemade guacamole, salsa, rice, been and tortillas.  We all agreed that the food was as good or better than any other place we have been to.  

What's fun about dining at the Fiesta Grill is that you feel like you are eating at a restaurant in Mexico.  Everything is authentic from the tile floor to the chandeliers.

After lunch we we walked next door to the Ranch Market and walked around.  Going there is like culturally visiting another world.   It is fun, vibrant, colorful with all kinds of unique products.  If you go walk by the meat counter.  There were things there that I hav never seen before!

All in all a fun lunch.

This tiny outdoor beach cafe has burgers and fries as good as any place I have ever been too.  It is up the stairs and off the beach if you are staying at La Concha or the Marriott.  Burgers are either four or eight ounces and cheap!  We had an 8oz cheese burger with fresh cut fries and a pop for $10.  

Great value, great service great fun vibe.

When I travel, I always sort by walking distance, rating and $$.  I find that this filter helps me find the good restaurants that are close by.  To my surprise, Orozco's showed up at the top with a review by my nephew Andrew K.   It was meant to be that we came here.

This place is the real deal!!! We had different varieties of mofongo and each was better then the next.  Also had Sangria which was quite tasty as well...

Great wait staff, very friendly and accommodating.  

The only downside to the experience was that we were watching the Bears get their tails clobbered by the Packers.

Nothing fancy, just good food at reasonable prices...

We had a very enjoyable meal here.  We had a variety of meals and appetizers, including skirt steak, roasted chicken, veal, hamburgers, fried fish, mac and cheese and more.  Everything was good.  Great Sangria too. Nice decor and artwork, good/friendly service.  

If you are looking for a "nicer" restaurant with good food, this is the place.

Just had lunch at the Strand today.  We shared a chicken Parmesan pizza, and a pressed, fresh veggie sandwich.  We also had Cesar salad and minestrone soup.  Every thing was home made ad tasted great.   The staff was friendly, helpful and attentive to our needs.  Very unique / eclectic, comfortable decor.  Nice size portions and a very reasonable price.  

This is my new go to restaurant when I have meetings downtown.

My oldest daughter asked me to take her for a hot dog tonight for dinner.  While I had a dog for lunch,  how could I deny my offspring's Chicago culinary request.  So we decided to try Chicago Bob's!   I have passed it many times and it is close to the house.  

Wow!  this is the real deal.  Just like being back in the Windy City!   My daughter had a Vienna (8 to1) dog on a poppy seed bun,  It looked great and she said it tasted great too.

Since I had a dog for lunch, I had the Italian beef with sweet peppers.  It was served on a french roll and was great as well.  

I have always said that the way you can judge a good Chicago Hot dog restaurant is by their french fries.  I'm happy to report that we were not disappointed.

The Double Bubba with Cheese was one of the highlights of my trip to Kauai. This is Hawaii's version of In-N-Out.  Very good, friendly staff  and fair prices for the Island.  

Not only was the food good the ambiance was even better.  It was a beautiful day to sit out in front on the picnic table with the nice tropical breeze keeping us cool!  

A must for anyone that visits the Island!!!

As a native of Chicagoland.  Richard Walkers was like going home.   Everything was incredible, Big portions and great service.  The buckwheat cakes and thick, crisp bacon are a must!

I admit that I get star struck and it is always fun to eat on the FOX lot because you never know who you are going to see.  Eating on the lot is always one of the highlights of my visit to  FOX.  Moe's Grill is a fun place to hang out.  Great for people watching!  Good food too.  I had the salad bar today and it was as good as any salad bar I've been too.  What really impressed me besides the food and the atmosphere is that everyone there from the help to the customers were extremely friendly.

We were looking for someplace different to go to in the neighborhood.  I have driven by Osha Thai many times and decided to stop in.  Wow, am I glad we did!  Everything about this place is great. Great food, Great prices, Great Service.

We started out with chicken lettuce wraps and Mee Grab.  For our entree's we had Ginger (Pad Khing Sod) with chicken,  Spicy Cashew Beef and a noodle dish.  Everything was better than the next!  

I'm looking forward to the next visit!
