TL;DR - I will give 6 out of 5 stars if possible. If you're looking for a Realtor to buy a home for yourself or for investment properties in and around Austin area, it will be foolish of you to not choose this mind-blowing Jen Berbas & Team from Realty Austin.

I worked with Jen Berbas & Team for buying investment properties in the Austin area. After a lot of research and interviews with several Realtor firms, I chose Jen Berbas & Team from Realty Austin.

Jen is very knowledgeable about Austin, super meticulous about the overall process, extremely trustworthy with great integrity & honesty and she has an absolute no BS attitude which we loved and appreciated. Jen and David setup a detailed walkthru of the overall process that she has for any prospective Buyers. She introduced us to different phases of the purchase process in Texas and finally introduced her broader team that will be in touch with us. She setup the right MLS alerts, communication channel (a dedicated Text messaging group chat) and sent a lot of information about Austin & its neighborhoods.

We went thru' a few homes before we finally made an offer. Jen & Team will send me all the necessary Sales and Lease market analysis to make sure that we know what we're getting into. The numbers are definitely conservative, which is better because we dont get disappointed in the future with some unrealistic expecations. She was super pragmatic during the offer making process and is never pushy to finish the sale. She wanted to make sure that we're comfortable with the house, the offer we were making and was pretty straight if we have a chance of getting the house or not. While it was a bit brutal at times, it was EXACTLY what we needed to hear :)

After we made the offer and during the due diligence, she and her outstanding team (Rachel & Rachel - you're both fantastic!) went way above and beyond my expectations inspite of the worst winter storm TX saw in recent years. They are insanely on top of all communications (with us, lenders, title company, Seller agent, Inspection etc.), will never leave any stone unturned and always wanted to make sure that we, as Buyers, were feeling good about the purchase and would answer any questions (even in some weird hours given that I'm 2 hours behind them)

I have nothing but great things to say about Jen & Team. I'm really looking forward to working with them for any investments in the future. Massive Respect!!

Here I am, waiting for an appointment that was supposed to come between 3PM and 4PM (it's 4.48PM right now!) and they still haven't made it. 4 phone calls, 2 emails and nope, not a single word as to why theyre delayed, if and when they will even make it.

Go elsewhere, these guys cannot be trusted with keeping up their times. This is the second time it's happening.

      Utterly useless and irresponsible.

      Where's the zero stars?

Ganesh Bhavan is synonymous for bad food, shabby and dirty place.

There was food crumbs all over the place, the waiter, while cleaning a table next to us, pushed the leftovers from the table on the floor instead of scooping it up. Floors were smudged and grey all over the place.

Food was horrendous. Have an upset stomach after eating there. And, all of this on a weekend night. God knows how things will be on a weeknight.

I'm very tempted to report these guys to California Public Health Safety board and am pretty sure they will shut this place down as its so unhygienic.

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible ...(catching my breath).... Horrible food.

The filthy, foul-smelling, oily food is worth a million negative stars.

Please, stay away from this place.

      Updated review

Update - 2/20/2012 - Looks like the below review I posted on 2/14/2012 isn't showing up on Yelp reviews. Well, I can only suspect who filtered it or marked it as spam. Anyways, reposting it again to make sure that people don't get robbed. I'm doing enough damage at my work place as well about this lousy practice.

Amma's is the Netflix for Restaurants. They were on a uphill, then they became greedy, rouge and got this all onto their heads.

Initially, their price, service & taste were all good.

Now, their price is so high, serving size has become smaller, service is lousy and partial, taste is still Ok. They often say that they don't have what's there on the menu, but if we start questioning them that as to why they still have it on the menu, they would oblige and then bring it over to you. Another time, they said it will take a long time to get one dish and again, upon questioning, they were able to get it in a jiffy.

We were 5 people once (4 adults and 1 toddler), they charged gratuity for that after the check was first issued. Rip off. I've eaten in several places in SFO downtown, including fine dining, and they don't charge gratuity for up to 6 people.

Stopped there for dinner tonight, they had a dinner for 2 for $39 menu (which was pretty blah) and for each additional child is $10. Greedy fellows. And, any item we order from the regular menu is $1 extra than the listed price as its Valentine's day. Double Greedy fellows. If only I can find St. Valentine I will whip his rear end. Oh btw, I found this so atrocious and didn't have dinner there. Stormed out. Yup.

They can dance all they want, but come Saravana Bhavan in Fremont, these guys will succumb to the pressure and get their act right.

A quote from Sam Walton - The customer can fire everyone upto the Chairman of a company by spending his money elsewhere. I think it'll come down to that and I hope these guys clean up their $hit.
