Things I Love My Blog Or Website
I'm usually a Bangkok Thai customer but today I decided to try out Thai Bamboo since it's closer to where I live. They have a lunch special for $9 where you get Pad Thai and another dish like Red Curry. Both dishes are half of their usual servings. Actually, that's excatly what I ordered. The Red Curry was yummy but the Pad Thai at Bangkok Thai is much better. Overall, I would definitely come back for to try out their other lunch specials.

Okay, there are rave reviews on Yelp so we decided to try it out since my wife loves seafood. Overall I would say it's pretty good but way over price. Our bill came out to around $60 for 2 people. Eating out of plastic boxes doesn't really make you feel like it's worth the $60 you just spent on lunch. We even ate there and they didn't serve our food on plates. For that kind of money I expect more than plastic boxes, plastic spoons, and waiter service.
Like most Anthropologie it's quite a place to shop. However, this place is smaller than most stores. You can probably look through the entire store in about 15 minutes.
Actually this place should get at least 3 stars for their food. I had the chicken Pad Thai and it was very good. The reason that I gave it 1 star is the automatic 17% gratuity the force on you. No, I did not have a party of 6, it was just my wife and I. That just ticked me off. I don't like being forced to give gratuity. Don't get me wrong, I'm not being cheap here. I just thing gratuity should be earned not just simply given. Isn't that the whole point of gratuity anyways?

Lam Seafood Market

Like most Asian supermarket, this one is crowded, crammed and lack a real parking lot. The aisle are small and you can barely get your shopping cart through. However, it has some of the freshest produce and lowest prices in Seattle. There are many other markets around the China Town but my wife seems to like the one the most. My favorite thing about this market is they make the best Pate Chaud. Just go to the deli where they make sandwiches and ask for the round pastry filled with yummy meat stuffing.
Good luck on trying to find this place at night. Oh man I think we circle this place like 3 times before finding it. It's not located near the touristy area. The location is in a residential area. It was probably once someone's home. They did a good job on the conversion into a restaurant. The food was delicious but way over price.
Oh man, at first I thought how great it is to have a Waffle House right inside the same lot as the Day's Inn. Then we bought some food and it was like the worst greasy food on the island. Avoid this place. Denny's down the road is way better.
If you plan on staying here because you want to explore Key West I would have to advise you to book another hotel. This location is actually 4 miles out from the main attraction in downtown Key West. There are lots of bed and breakfast inn and other hotels that have better location. Overall the stay here is decent since your room is fairly sized plus you have a living room. There are 2 TVs, one inside your bedroom and one in the living room. If you have a large group of friends this would be a cheap place since there is a large space for everyone to bunk with sleeping bags. However, like I said before, if you plan on touring the Key West experience I would book something else closer to Duval street where all the tourist attraction is.
Tip: Don't go the the Waffle House - It sucks.

There are lots of bad review for Budget but somehow I didn't experience any of it. I reserved my car online directly from http://budget.com so I knew how much I was going to pay. The car I got was a Pontiac G6 which wasn't that bad. The service agent tried to upsell to a bigger car but it was just me and my wife so we declined. Of course, they try to upsell on other stuff like GPS (we brought along our own) and car insurance. I declined everything. Overall the experience is not great but for the price you get what you pay for.
Yes, you heard me. I ordered the pad thai. I didn't have a craving for sushi but my wife did so we ended up going here since it was right next to our hotel. The pad thai plate was huge, enough to feed two people so we did. I split it with my wife and had some of her sushi. She had the dragon roll which was yummy. Don't order their margaritas. They were really just mush and no alcohol. It's a waste of money. I would come back just for the pad thai.
