Friday Night usually consist of same ol' bars in the 90026. My friends and i wanted to do something different, so i researched (yelped) bigfoot lodge, and thought it would be a good pick. we were anticipating a good time..

we got here, parked a couple blocks away, pre gamed a bit. at this point we were feeling pretty good. walked to bigfoot (2 blocks) , there was no line, bouncer was nice.  it was pretty packed. music sucked tho..we ordered drinks ,  $5 Spaten Oktoberfest!!!!!!!!!!  people inside were generally nice..i liked the chill environment. will probably come here more often. I  did notice a bit older crowd.  overall i really enjoyed my time here.

WOW. I DONT KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN.

I had a huge dilemma. i needed my original birth certificate, ASAP. a couple of friends told me to come here, and that it usually takes a few days to get your document, or if you pay an extra fee, you can get in a couple hours . So i arrived at 8am,  and got on a computer and had requested my document, then i got a receipt and went to the window i was assigned to. I asked the teller, can i get the birth certificate today? and she said "YES" i asked her how long would i have to wait, and she said "15 minutes" . I paid $16 and got my certificate in a few minutes!!!!  freaking sweeeeeeeet!!!

next time you need a document, birth certificate, death certificate, etc.. don't bother getting one online you will pay over $50 and will have to wait a couple weeks. just come here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I Usually  show up to spaceland on mondays, since its free. Finding parking here can be a bit of a challange, i usually have to park a couple blocks away. no big deal.  i've been here about a dozen times and never had trouble waiting in line, i just go by the doorman.  The inside is great. there is a stage, a bar, and a pool table room with its own bar. the pool table room is chill , its more of a lounge with  HDTV's  that display whatever band it is that is playing that night.. I love the beer selection.  when i'm feeling like a high roller i usually go for the better stuff, but when its that time of the week, when i'm on my last few dollars, i go for the Miller High Life $2.50 a glass  or $4.50 for those really cool Oktoberfest mugs. All in all spaceland is a great place to hangout and check out local/touring bands.  Restroom is kinda small, and usually a long line.

bottom line spaceland is a must, to add to your going out rotation. its like the Roger Clemens or Randy Johnson,  a consistent reliable place to go. there is even a 711 right next to spaceland, so you can grab a tall can of PBR before checking out spaceland, or get a hotdog to sober you up. cuz you know D.U.I's are nothing to mess with!!!!!!!!!!!

I been trying to catch the illusive Kogi truck for quite some time now.
I checked my twitter yesterday and was excited that kogi was gonna be in my area from 10pm-1am. I was really excited!!! so later that night, i decided to get some kogi for the 1st time. I got there and there was about 3 people in line. I ordered the Burrito spicy pork ($5) . Waited about 5 mins for my food.  the burrito was actually pretty good. was it worth the drive? yes. i would definitely grab something from the kogi truck next time its in the area.
its cheap. quick. delicious. innovative.

Kinda Crowded for a Football Sunday. Arrived here with a couple of friends, we were lucky enough to get a table. we sat down and waited for our waitress (15 mins) she finally took our orders, I  ordered  Mozzarella Cheese Sticks,  a Heineken and a water. I waited for my food ( 15mins) , finally it arrived..but no water or Heineken, just the cheese sticks ... I had asked the waitress , "Can i please get my drinks?"  
"give me a sec " she answered.
I waited another 10 minutes.  I just went to the bartender and asked if i could get my water and beer.
The mozzarella cheese sticks were great. i got about 10 of them for $7.50.

My waitress was just great, to top it off, when i paid the bill, she said " i'll be back with your change"

15 minutes later " I'm sorry have i given you your change ?"

"NO!! :" I answered.

she finally gave me my change  this place has potential to be my spot,  a shitty waitress won't stop me from coming here.

overall : lots of HDTV's ,  cheap food, wide beer selection, dark place, a dive. i like

I went through a Burrito phase this past week. I was obsessed with finding the Best burrito, or the closest thing.  After a long day of work I decided to go with  Campos Tacos.
I got there. parking was a breeze. There was no line. I ordered the Carne Asada burrito. The total came out to $4.95 , they also threw in some tortilla chips with salsa.  The Burrito was really good, but nothing spectacular.the salsa's  they offer are weak, I think I'll get a better kick using tapatio or tobasco nothing mexican about them also, the lemons are very dry, hardly any juice in them. i .  I would come here again, its cheap, quick and easy.
Definitely not the best burrito in Town, But its not the worse. EH.

I Been in and out of  Yelp Jail for the past few months. I'm the scum of the earth. I've habitually violated the yelp terms of service. why do i do it? I can offer a million answers , all false, well the truth is , I'm a bad person. but that's  gonna change, i'm gonna change. this is the last of this sort of thing ,  i'm cleaning up and choosing YELP . i'm looking forward to it already. I'm gonna be  Just like you.

This place is great for late night dinning...

i was here on a Friday night and was seated very quickly, we ordered our drinks...it took me about a micro second to order...i always go with the Party Sampler, cheese sticks, Cheese sticks , chicken tenders, i always substitute the onion rings for more cheese sticks...they are very friendly with their condiments, i always get xtra marinara sauce for no xtra charge ..overall all food is great!!

the restrooms are clean. there is ample parking. bottom line , i suggested u come here and try the cheese sticks :D

99 Cent 1/4 Pound Hamburgers.

YEP!! these quarter pound burgers are actually $1. and they are very tasty not to mention very cheap. screw McDonalds dollar menu, you should consider Doublz next time you're in the area (montebello) aside, from the burgers, they also serve chilli cheese fries, chicken, etc.. i've heard that the milkshakes are actually decent, this place is opened everyday till 11pm. they also have a drive thru.

Doublz also has a couple HDTV's for the big game, so yeah come here, you'll have a blast!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I Come here when i'm craving the "Gigante" its basically a rectangle shaped pizza that is really huge. 32 squared slices.  its enough to feed a party!!!! the best part is that the pizza is only $9.99. yep! talk about a bargain !!! i usually call in 10 minutes before i go pick it up. You should def. try it,  they also sell wings, bread sticks and soda.
this place gets 2 thumbs up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
