Great food and service. The Ropa Vieja was excellent - the plantains and the black beans were great.
We stopped in to try out the ribs after the annual Wine Over Water event. Since we did not know which type to get, we chose to share the rib sampler. The sampler comes with four types of ribs and two sides. Of the four selections, our favorite was the dry rub followed by the hot bar-b-que souce - great stuff!
We tried Nik's on the advice of a friend and we would agree - this place rocks! The food was absolutely fantastic - my wife and I shared the Nik's Plate - it was more than enough for the two of us. The Dolmades were wonderful, the Pastitsio was great and the hummus was devine. I highly recommend checking this place out.
We got there too late for "grouchy hours" (3-6pm) and will have to go back to check it out :o)

We visited Charleston just for the heck of it and asked the Concierge to point us to a place where the locals go. He recommended Coast and we could not be more pleased.
The Okra and Tomato salad was excellent and the Cashew-encrusted Grouper was fantastic. The service staff was very attentive. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Our first impression was along the lines of "what have we gotten ourselves into?". As a previous reviewer noted, the place used to be a Mexican restaurant - and not much has changed (in or out). When we walked in, NO ONE WAS THERE! Nothing says "run away" quite so quickly as an empty restaurant on a Friday night.
What changed our minds? A nice Indian gentleman came in to pick up a huge order of food and then asked what we were looking for. he was kind enough to introduce us to the owner and then made suggestions for dinner.
We had Chicken 65, Chicken Korma (my favorite) and Chicken Biryani (plus Naan) All of which was fantastic! We want to come back and try the Grand Buffet in the next weekend or two.
Pricing and service were both very good.
