This is the fourth time we've come for breakfast. We've never managed to be served in less than 1.5 hours. And that's just to get our food!  

Today our waitress (after waiting 20 minutes to have our order taken) took everyone's order but my husband's and mine. When she came back ten minutes later, she said she had to go because another order was up, and they get mad if she makes them wait.

Since there were 4 employees smoking outside when we arrived, I'm not sure why they're understaffed inside.

This is a great Chinese restaurant.

The best part is that you can tell the food is prepared fresh -- not just retried.  Also, prices are very reasonable, and perhaps lower than other Chinese restaurants in the area. They often offer discounts and freebies, such as soda.

The menu is huge and includes a surprisingly large selection of low calorie and vegetarian dishes.

Probably the only complaint residents of the county would have is that it's not a buffet...

Ed Hine is a professional and ethical mechanic.  He's upfront about costs and is eager to help.  He works with you through all processes.  Highly recommended!

Great PA Dutch diner. Schwalm's offers quick service, friendly local staff and excellent desserts.

The food is typical PA Dutch. It's also typical diner fare. The prices are hard to beat. I recommend their soups and special local cuisine -- like filling!

What's all the hype about?

My husband and I have been to this restaurant several times (since it's close).  We're not quite sure what all the hype is about.  While the food is passable, it's not exciting.  For example, one of the dishes they serve is a chicken and rice burrito.  It's nothing special, and would benefit from some sort of sauce or dressing (it's pretty dry).  They have an apple salad that sounds good in writing but lacks fluid flavors (it almost seems like someone just threw some cheese and apples and walnuts together without taste-testing the final product).

Drinks are pricey for the area, if the restaurant is busy the service drags, and some of the waitstaff seem more concerned with socializing than serving.

It's not a bad place for dinner and drinks, but it's definitely not worth all the hype.

My husband and I ate at this diner three times and neither the first, second or third time was a charm.  We won't be going back.

The restaurant does not seem to operate well and gives off a generally chaotic feel.  The employees seem not to know who's in charge of any task of the diner.

All three times we ate there, they were out of something.  Twice they were out of french fries -- something that comes with most of their dishes!  Though the menu was large, patrons should not expect to be able to order things from the menu since they're not usually stocked.  Every time we went there, service was slow (we once were in the restaurant for 2 hours -- for breakfast!).

On top of it all, the owner is rude if anyone complains or even asks questions.  In fact, once, while checking out, the owner asked two college girls if everything was okay.  They responded by saying, "The service was a little slow."  The owner then yelled (seriously!) at them, shouting, "It's not my fault!  The waitresses called off!  There's nothing I could do!"  The girls simply responded, "Well, you asked."

Weav's is an enjoyable restaurant whose main recommendation is large portions at affordable prices (especially the huge orders of french fries they give you!).

My family recently dined there and the food was good.  The menu lacks variety outside of fried food fare, but what they do have is good enough.  We especially enjoyed the cheddar biscuits that came with Weav's entrees.

The thing that kept this from being a four-star review was the atmosphere.  There was something a little too cold about the decor.  The room was dim, but it did not lend to the ambience.

If you're a fan of fresh-cut fries, this place is one you should try.
