Stepped off the plane and headed up the Leelanau Penninsula along M-22. Scott's seemed to be a great spot to stop for a bite and a drink.
I ordered the chicken & black bean burrito with an oberon. The chicken could not have been more tender and juicy. Service was friendly, attentive and quick with refills.
I'd recommend Scott's Harbor Grill for a good meal with a great view of the marina and West Bay.

I asked a real estate friend in the area for a suggestion on where to take the family for a "locals" place. You know, the kind of place most locals and few tourists know about? Cyndee Haydon pointed us to Walt'z and we were *not* disappointed!
Chalkboard menu, with the fish that Walt has purchased earlier in the day, is what you'll order from. And when the catches of the day are gone, they get crossed off the menu. When all the fish is gone, Walt'z closes shop.
No fries. No chicken strips. No burgers. The only serve seafood that is as fresh and flavorful as I have ever experienced.
Other reviewers are correct: get there as early as you can (they open at 5 pm and are closed Mondays).
The only trouble you will have, will be eating seafood anywhere else until you can return to Walt'z.
