I've been a photographic hobbyist for many, many years and just recently decided to take my art to the next level. I am so glad to have found such a knowledgeable and helpful staff in Looking Glass Photographic Arts. They really know their stuff!

I came in looking for help with an extremely specific lighting question and Mickey helped me out. I shoot with a camera body that is a little underpowered for the application for which I use it for.

Since going to this shop for advice, I have been able to take some great photos that I was previously unable to take. In fact, the solution that they gave me saved me money on the stuff I had just bought at Best Buy attempting to solve the same problems.

I go to this shop regularly for advice and great prices in a local business and I highly recommend it for all those who are interested in photography!

Sarah Hutches

I have used Sarah Hutches Professional Services for everything from filing and organizing to cleaning to designing promotional material to bringing me daily meals so I can lose weight. She has helped me with scheduling, serving as a face for my business that I know I can trust.

As a small business owner, I am constantly besieged by more paperwork and admin than I know how to fit into a day. I am constantly amazed with how efficient and organized Sarah Hutches is. She has designed promotional material that would take me weeks to get finished that is wittier than anything I could have written in my life and entered more data quickly and accurately than I would ever want to.

I highly recommend Sarah Hutches and currently contract her weekly to keep my business running like clockwork, while sitting back and doing what I do best, teaching music and acting!

Well, I'm the business owner, so I'd love to give a completely unbiased glowing review, but I'd say that I'm likely unable to do so. What I will say is that I love what I do and I'm looking forward to providing the aspiring actors and musicians of the Walnut Creek/Concord area a place to call home and find all the resources that they need.

Our 3000 square foot facility houses a classroom, performance area, and a comfy lobby. We're adding 4 private lesson rooms/practice studios and a retail store for musical instruments in the future.

We offer private lessons, classes, and jam sessions so that you can explore your musicality in guitar, bass, drums, voice, and piano, whatever level you may be.

We offer classes and jams for aspiring actors, whether they want to improve their scene study skills, improvisation, or musical theater abilities.

We're always adding new programs, so check out our website and I hope to see you Under The Sun

Crepes A Go Go

I loved this place! I've been going there for like 12 years now and it doesn't get old. I like this shop better than the one in Walnut Creek. And, while I was at school in berkeley, I'd go waaaay out of my way to get some crepes from here. I'd definitely take a date for a chill, low-key but slightly different than usual date.

This is a nice local place. The portions are large and it's convenient. The service is somewhat inconsistent. I've been very pleased most times I've been now. It's open late and a good alternative to Denny's and the food is better. I eat there fairly regularly.

I eat here all the time with a close friend and his family. They're Chinese and apparently eat there literally every day. I've enjoyed all the food that I've eaten there and never left wanting for more. Of course, I've never dealt with the wait staff directly as the person ordering spoke chinese...But hey, that's a good sign in my book. Probably over 90% of the clientele was actually Chinese, which is also a good sign in my book. It totally reminds me of my days in Chinatown NYC too...

Gordos Gourmet Hamburgers - CLOSED

When I needed a good burger, I used to go to Fuddrucker's. No more. This is the best burger I've had in ages AND it's family-owned. The portions are huge and I'm always full.

My favorite part is that it's so chill that my friends and I will go there and have existential discussions over a tasty tasty burger.

Try the "Belly Buster." It's my favorite.

Scott is a cool guy and a GREAT photographer. He's done several shoots for my web design business and take some of the most beautiful dance photography I have ever seen. I've used him before and I'll use him again AND I'd recommend him to all my clients when they need promotional photography. His facility is very nice and he's very low pressure. Best of all, he's inexpensive AND talented. How's that for a combination?

I took lessons from Janet Murray. She's the sweetest piano teacher and a great one for someone who would like to study piano. I had the pleasure of accompanying her to one of her own recitals and got to see first hand why she loves what she does.
