I didn't really understand Stinkers. Too clean to be a truck-stop dive, and too much country music for the Silverlake crowd.
Still, that skunk spray trick thang & the beer can decor were pretty awesome - def worth checking out at least once.

The Bullet popped my gay bar cherry... and honestly it was a little overwhelming at first, I had no idea what to expect.
Minus the on-screen action and female-less crowd... it was a pretty typical dive. Save for the seedy appearances, everyone was very friendly. The bar tender Max was super cute, poured very generously, and even came out to light the fire for us.
How the hell did I end up at The Bullet? I'm still trying to figure that one out myself.

The Happy Hour offerings were cheap (5 bucks) & oh-so-tasty. Cocktails & well drinks $5 & $3 beer until 7pm.
However cute looking... its not a bar. The bartender was really freaking slow, but the waitress was really damn cute. She came over to tell us how glad she was to meet us (awww).

Easiest review I've ever done:
Drinks were strong.
Decor was hip and cozy.
Food was delicious (that cheddar burger really hit the spot).
& the male bar staff was attractive and flirtatious.
loves it.

Blu Monkey balls.
Too crowded, too loud - not a chill place.
If you're looking for some drunk, dancin fun (arrive drunk... the bar was impossible to reach & the drinks were on the weaker side) it would be worth checkin' out.
If you're cool, you will come in through the back by the valet off Western.

Stumbled into the Little Shamrock for refuge from the afternoon chill and ended up wasting away the rest of the day sipping hot-totties and lounging the ancient yet comfy furniture.
I really like this bar because it reminded me of my favorite dive bar back in Allston, MA (the Silhouette) with the free popcorn & darts... except The Little Shamrock is way cleaner!
They also had a stack of board games by the fireplace... which I would have loved to have played, but ALL the pieces were missing. So we opted for chilling in the dart room & writing all over the chalkboard walls. Kudos if you can locate the dart room... more than once a someone wandered back there and was like, "Never in my years here have I noticed this room."

Came here for dinner with friends while visiting my friend Erin in the Sunset (aka The Queen of Dumpling) and had a scrumptious & cheap meal!
The bean curd & cilantro salad was surprisingly the most delicious thing on the table. Also - the pork dumplings were bomb. We had corn in ours (which I thought was a little strange) and they were a bit on the sweet side.
All in all we stuffed ourselves for 10 bucks each... and well I don't think that has ever happened before.

Very cool bar. The interior felt very cozy, and I kept imagining that when I went outside I would encounter several inches of snow on the sidewalk. Very impressed with the swiss ski lodge atmosphere...big plus, no oompah music.
The bartenders were VERY friendly. Its nice to see people who enjoy their jobs.
There seems to be a dress code? The bouncer asked my friend to remove his ballcap... but inside there were a bunch of dudes still wearing them.
Not sure if the alpine vibe would sustain on a 100 degree day.

Garlic bread was VERY strong+++ Vampire repellent for sure.
We each ordered a pasta dish... both were extremely tasty! I would recommend sharing these, definitely enough food to split. Although its not suggested on the menu, I think family-style eating would be the way to go here.
