Bob's diner is my #1 favorite breakfast destination in Manhattan, hands down. Great specials. Breakfast out can't get much better than it does at Bobs! Prices are reasonable too.
I think the folks at Pathfinder are top notch, sorry Trevor's experience has been different. Pathfinder is a great store with super equipment, and I have always found the employees there to be responsive and friendly.
If you are looking for a good bar in Aggieville, I don't know why anyone would go anyplace other than Rusty's Last Chance. This defines the "Aggieville" nightlife experience for me, with the admittedly small sampling of experiences that I have!
For decent, cheap Mexican food, Rosa's can't be beat. Their hard shell taco plate is always a best bet.
Dimba's has the best catfish in Lubbock, hands down. (Not that there are a ton of competitors in this area, but of the ones I have tried, Dimba's real only other competitor is River Smiths.)
Outback has the best steaks in Lubbock. My #1 place to go in the South Plains for a great seared prime rib!

American Cleaners is a great business I highly recommend. Their prices are competitive, the quality of their service is great, and they are super-friendly. :-)

Scuttlebutts Restaurant & Bar - CLOSED

Scuttlebutts is OK but I think its seafood can be a little expensive.
Thai Pepper is one of our family's favorite Lubbock restaurants. I am not an expert on Thai food, but I don't have to be, because I can go to Thai Pepper! For lunch, make sure you get there at 11:45 or sooner to get a table. Make sure you try the cheese wontons for an appetizer, my favorite entrees are Pad Thai and Gang-Garee. Great food, very helpful wait staff, can't rate this high enough! :-)
