Orly at Tangerine Creations was FANTASTIC. We originally opted to go with Tangerine Creations because we wanted bright, bold, creative, and elegant floral arrangements that would really pop against our black bridesmaids dresses. We gave here a ton of creative license to do what she thought would look best and we were AMAZED by the result. All of the flowers were breathtaking and we got numerous compliments from our guests throughout the event and the following morning. We would highly recommend Tangerine Creations to any couple in the Boston area - they are easy and fun to work with.
Went here for the first time a couple days ago. The food was definitely solid, but not the best I've had around the valley (there are even other places in Palo Alto that I like better). If I were picking, I'd choose one of the sister restaurants in San Francisco instead.

The food wasn't bad (although my burger wasn't cooked as I request), but the service was terrible. Our waiter was off the wall, he kept telling us that he wanted to pay attention to us, but then was never around when we wanted to order / get soda refills.
We ate outside on the terrace and it was a nice atmosphere.

I was in town on vacation for a weekend and decided not to waste time in my wedding dress hunt. I opted to schedule an appointment here because it looked like they had well known designers and a good salon reputation.
When I arrived, I wasn't let down. I was greeted by a consultant who spent about an hour working with me. We tried numerous dresses and eventually found one that was, despite how I thought it looked on the rack, quite flattering. Although, I didn't end up purchasing the dress, it was the front runner of my search for some time.
I'd definitely recommend this salon if you are looking for a wedding dress in the area. The sales women are knowledgeable, friendly, and patient.

Jin is awesome. I went to the salon on my wedding dress hunt and ended up finding the best dress in the world among her collection. I went to her salon with my mom and was lucky to be able to work with Jin herself trying on different styles and discussing was works and what doesn't. In addition to the wonderful designs she creates, I must also compliment Jin on her honesty, many of the other bridal salons I went to wouldn't give me a straight answer when I was wearing something that just didn't look right. Jin, on the other hand, told me when the dress wasn't the right one so I could move on. I have loved working with her so far and can't wait to have her help with fittings.

Given all the positive reviews, we were definitely looking forward to trying out this place, but once we got there we were let down. It was so packed, that there was no where to sit so we ended up sitting at the bar. That wasn't really a problem, since there were two of us and we were able to get chairs with backs. What bugged me most was how sloooooow things were. We waited at least an hour for our food to come out and when it did it just wasn't all that great. The salad that we had as a starter was fantastic, but the po' boy main, not so much. All in all, I'm not sure it deserves the hype.
We decided to try out this place for the first time tonight and were pleasantly surprised by what we got. The food was pretty tasty and it was served quickly. I thought the service was good (we were seated right away, our order was taken promptly, and food was served quickly), but I could have done without being seated seemingly on top of another couple we didn't know. I thought the portions were a little bit smaller than I would like and the whole meal cost more than I expected. All that said, however, I'd definitely go back. It's probably one of the best meals I've had in the Berkeley area.
This place is amazing. I wandered in off the street one weeknight (from what I hear this is impossible on a weekend) and had the most amazing meal. I started with some coconut mussels that were out of this world. Next the Mahi Mahi was really great; well seasoned and super tasty. Finally the desert was phenomenal. Can't remember exactly what I had, but it was just amazing. The service was great (she gave great recommendations when we didn't know what to order). East Coast Grill is one of the best restaurants I've been to in the Boston area.
Just got back from a phenomenal dinner at Dry Creek Kitchen. We had the tasting menu and the whole meal was wonderful. I'd say the high point of the whole thing was the middle fish course of a salmon crusted with something a little bit sweet (I would guess brown sugar). The short ribs were super tasty and the lentil soup was amazing.
Our servers were very attentive and happy to provide feedback on wine selection and even substituted one of the entrees for my friend who did not eat fish.
Only downside to Dry Creek Kitchen is the drive. If you are coming up form San Francisco or the Bay Area, it's definitely a trek. Healdsburg is a cute town so there are some nice shops to visit if you want to make a day out of it.

Maybe I just picked the wrong dishes, but I wasn't very impressed with this place at all. We ordered Pad Thai and a yellow chicken curry. The shrimp in the Pad Thai just didn't taste very good (not quite sure why) and I felt like the curry lacked flavor. I'd go back because it has gotten good reviews from other people, but I can't say I was wowed.
