to this day, Sal's is still the best pizza i have ever had. the hype is well deserved ... especially for the Sicilian. skip everything else on the menu and just get the pizza.

these guys to valet parking for restaurants and for private homes and private parties.
the bad:
they parked my car a few weeks ago at a private party and returned it with a big dent in the front (that cost about $2300 to fix)
the good:
the paid for the repair of my car (plus taxis and other incidentals) and made it really easy for me. they got back to me relatively quickly (could have been quicker but still was way better than most) and the was fixed like new.
overall, i was very impressed with their manager, Rob Puccinelli, who was very helpful and very easy to work with.

Lotus Vodka

i've been lucky enough to get a preview of Red Lotus and White Lotus (my favorite). this vodka just tastes better than all the other bland drinks. it feels better. and White Lotus has got a bunch of vitamins that I seem to make it a much a better experience. Plus it is a local San Francisco drink -- much better than the corporate impersonal liquor titans.
this is a great place to buy gifts for friends, relatives, and significant others. being a guy, i find it is really hard to shop for a girl. however, the awesome staff at Romi Boutique help pick out the perfect gifts. everyone who receives them is always happy. thank you Romi!

they guys at Slide put together a great club that is just the right size and is run like clock-work. two random good things about the place: you don't have to wait forever to order a drink at the bar (you get a bartender super-fast) and that the bathrooms are clean and accessible.
they play great music and have a great group of owners who make everyone feel welcome.

this continues to be one of my favorite spots in SF. the food is outstanding, the service is great (staff is super friendly), and the bar scene is fun. plus, they play great fun music.
I highly recommend ordering food right at the bar and eating on one of their many comfortable couches.

Bauer's Transportation

Beware of doing business with Bauer's Limousine. I ordered a limo from them -- a top-of-the-line model and instead, they sent a clunker (the lowest model). it was like ordering a rolls royce and getting a 1984 chevy nova held together by duct tape. and afterwards, Rick (the manager there) would not return my calls. he refused to send any sort of refund. He even said he wouldn't apologize. I would highly encourage you not to do business with Bauer's Limousine.
I have used many of the other limo services in SF and they have been great. Every one of them has been better than Bauer's.
My experience was very similar to: Alicia W. (below). They did a bait and switch on me too.
Seems like they do a good job for Google. But if you are a small client, beware! They won't care about you.
