Not bad for a chain. Big tables for groups, friendly wait-staff, and a surprisingly diverse menu, so it's not just all burgers. The bottomless fries are a nice touch, and I almost always order the strawberry freckled lemonade. I don't eat much ground beef, but when I do, I give in to a Whiskey River BBQ Burger :-P MMM.
Don't forget to throw your business card in the fishbowl...they really do pick winners (I was one of them.)

A reliable stand-by. Inexpensive lunchtime special plates. Dependably grumpy wait-staff. Delicious cuisine. It gets crowded quickly, so either reserve or arrive before 12:00 PM.

Not bad. It's a Chevy's, can it really be anything special. Funny, we like this place because parking is easy and seating is fast. If you want to fill up, try a combo fajita plate. And if only they served a bigger side-order of that moist cornbread stuff! Day-um.

Crazy, but I love HB. I get to have a little of this and a little of that and then a make-my-own sundae.
This location is nice because it's relatively un-crowded on weekends in the mid-afternoon.

Eh. It was convenient, but not spectacular. I think it was one of those places where one goes for the broad tequila selection, rather than the food.

Not bad. Since the Patio went MIA so many years ago, this place has served to replace the "outdoors in" atmosphere some of us long for. The menu is short, but the interesting. I had a strip steak with peppercorn sauce over salty shoestring fries. It was all just nice, nothing spectacular. I'd call it more of a stand-by than a must-see.

What a strange place. Run down, out of the way, a real hole in the wall dive. We had a great time at lunch! Such a strange juxtaposition (I've been waiting YEARS to use that word) of blase decor and glamorous food presentation. The menu was pretty diverse, and the burgers quite large. It was a strange and interesting experience, well worth a trip to dine by the PG&E substation!

We chose this place because it seemed suitable for a party of eight. We got that part right. The service was good, but boy was it noisy in there at lunchtime on Friday. The menu was appealingly diverse, but the food that was served left a lot to be desired. I had the Macadamia-crusted fish and chips. I've never had fish so dry. Blech. I read somewhere else that this place gets more stars if one only orders from the bar. Perhaps that is true.
For what this place does, it's always incredibly busy during the lunch hour. We choose this place for group lunches from the office. I'm not sure why, because it's always very crowded at lunchtime.
The service is always friendly and attentive. The menu is sufficiently diverse, too. A co-worker had one of those giant stuffed potatoes, it must have been some GM hybrid because it looked about 2-3 lbs! I like the soup and 1/2 sandwich. They use some nice multi-grain bread.
Of course the main attraction would be the big beer selection and sports on HDTV everywhere. This isn't the perfect lunch atmosphere for me, and when you're not into the game, it is just useless background noise.

Reasonably priced, and good value for the money, but nothing spectacular. Perhaps that's because I've never had the Kung Pao. Too bad they didn't stay open later, really.
