Love this place for lunch. Quiet (you'll be the only ones), but a little on the expensive side ($15/pp).

great for business lunches.

decent cut, not great. quiet, semi-rude barber. tons of other barbershops nearby. I'd likely go to them next time, just because the barber here kinda creeped me out, but decent cut and definite value play deserve 3 stars.

In fairness, the chiropratic experience I had here was fine. That sad:

I called asking to see a DOCTOR for my very sore shoulders, scared I'd broken something while snowboarding. I came in and was greeted by a nice guy who responded yes when I asked "are you the doctor?"

I found out afterwards that he was a chiropractor, which isn't covered by my insurance, which is why I asked initially. After being informed that their rep "wasn't going to argue semantics with me, a chiropractor isn't an MD but they are a doctor." I was charged $150.

Thanks for the rip-off Chiro-Medical!

This place will not disappoint you on sandwich amazingness, but they will charge you an exorbitant fee for it. I'd say these cheesesteaks were at least twice as expensive as your average cheesesteak in San Francisco or San Jose.

Great food after a long day on the mountain, but I'm OK with not going back next time I'm up. Check out Naked Sushi next door, I haven't been but my cabinmates tried it and thought it was pretty good.

This place had amazing views and served as a great base for our group to go play in the snow at heavenly. I would recommend the house to friends. It has, bar none, the best view from a hot tub I've ever seen. The large dining and living areas are great congregation points, and the house comfortably slept 2 couples and 2 others. It could have, with slightly less comfort, slept 2-3 couples and 5-6 others.

Great place, I highly recommend it.

The Prix Fixe is clearly the way to go, but it's too romantic for a business setting and to loud for a romantic setting (except on valentine's day apparently).

Great place to go before a show or with a few good friends.

This place is truly a hidden gem. Great value, very detailed decor, nice servers and above average food. The prix fixe is amazing, I had the Filet Mignon and it was truly done almost to perfection. It's location is quite close to the Actors Theatre of San Francisco which makes for a wonderful night. Three of us enjoyed a beautiful meal and a Incredible rendition of Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman. One huge plus is the relative unknown status of this place, the head of our party didn't realize reservations would be required -- I was lucky enough to spot the small sign right before we decided to throw in the towel and settle for Bar Food.

A serendipitous experience, and a wonderful restaurant. Only 4 stars because it can get extremely noisy in the smaller place and the lighting was a bit bright and spoils the romantic mood a bit. If your going there to celebrate and be merry it's a 5 star joint.

Oh I got the Apple tart, my companions got the souffle -- the souffle is the best choice!

This is really really sad, because I always want this place to be amazing.

And it's always mediocre.

Overpriced.

This place is amazing. Trust me when I say, it's the shizzel.

I even tweeted my recommendations: http://is.gd/ake4 (Hey Yelp, Twitter to Yelp interface is the wave of the future. Ride that boat)

Order This:  kanpachi, chef's nigriri selection (Miso Soup!), gono eshu sake.

Best 70 bucks you'll spend that night.

These guys are awesome. They run the store pretty late, and the nob hill sized frozen yogurt has made me feel good on some bad days.

Yeah, it's expensive. but if it saves me walking down/up any freaking hills, I'm all for paying another buck for soap.

Love it.
