Saint Cupcake has got to be the cutest shop I have ever been to. I mean, it is just the epitome of adorable.
Oh, and the cupcakes? FRICKEN YUM!!!!!!! Dots have got to be the most brilliant idea ever, because then when I can't decide what flavor I want, I can have more than one and not feel gross for eating all that sugar.
I'd probably be 300 pounds if I lived closer.
I'd never had a quiche before (oddly enough) but I had their Quiche Lorraine and it was also really yummy.
The bakery itself was really cute, I hung out for a few hours working while I ate my food and had (an also ridiculously delicious) white mocha. It got crowded but stayed quiet enough that I could concentrate. The music was very calming, as well.

Don Chilitos Mexican Grill

I went again and still had to put lots of ice in my horchata. Got a torta.. it was okay, I guess. I think I'll stick to the tacos in the future.

So, the boyfriend and I were arguing about what to eat for lunch, yet again, when he decided he wanted teriyaki... except, when we drove by, the teriyaki place was closed, so we went to Don Chilitos cause it was the next food place we saw.
Now, I tend to avoid "mexican" places when possible because a) I was raised on like, real, homemade mexican food that my mexican grandmother cooked, and so I hate most mexican restaurants, and b) I've been having a string of bad luck lately. But, since he was paying, I didn't have much leverage for insisting on something else.
I got the 2 taco combo meal and an horchata. The horchata was not mixed properly, but then again, they never really are, anywhere. You learn to compensate with ice. After 20 minutes it was super yummy.
The carne asada wasn't bad. The tacos were ok, but the tortillas were a little bit more crispy than is standard, and they weren't doubled up. But, they tasted pretty good so I was willing to forgive.
The beans were good, and the rice was surprisingly not terrible, except it had vegetables in it for some reason. Sorry, but peas and corn belong in fried rice, not mexican rice. Anyway, i didn't totally hate the rice, which is rare, so they get points for that.
In a nutshell, I'd probably eat there again. It wasn't bad.

I started off with a blackberry mojito, which was nice and refreshing, and not too sweet, as many mojitos tend to be. The waitress then came by and put a candle on our table; which prompted an "Oh noes! This is a date now, crap!" from me.
My main "complaint" is that almost half of the items on the entree menu were fish... being as though I am horribly allergic to fish, it left me with few options. Many of the remaining options were pork, which I just don't really like.
So I opted for the shrimp pasta thing, which was really, really yummy. I don't do spicy, so they toned down the sauce with some alfredo, which I really liked. It was a tasty entree, though I'm not really sure the size/taste to price ratio was balanced quite properly.
The boy was not particularly hungry, so he got teriyaki steak bites from the appetizer menu. They were REALLY tasty, yum.
The service was good, and the atmosphere was really nice. We sat in a booth in the lounge area, which I actually think was more intimate than sitting in the dining area. We enjoyed our experience here.

I did think it was weird that all the decoration was about what people in Washington think. Meh.
I liked the food. The burgers are pretty average but the fries are amazing! I also liked how many sauce options they give, though they really skimped on the BBQ sauce on my burger.
And they don't serve milkshakes. WTF? How can you aim for being a "burger joint" and not have milkshakes?!

I thought the seats were pretty clever, if not a little odd. It kind of emulates kneeling at a low table.
I had the cocount soup, medium spice, and it cleared my sinuses right out (which is why I ordered it, so nicely done!) and also had the red curry with peanut sauce, also medium, and it was amazingly yummy.
The thai iced tea was good, the service was good, and the portions were big enough that I had more than enough to eat for lunch the next day. Oh and the lunch time prices are amazing.
I highly recommend this place!

We had a banquet kind of thing and the food was amazing. The service was fabulous and the bartenders made my kind of drinks!
I didn't get to see any of the rooms but I heard very good things from the people that were staying there. If I lived further, I'd totally stay at this hotel if I was in Portland :)

The pizza wasn't bad. I liked the sauce. The cheesecake was pretty mediocre. The service was good.
Oooh but they have these breadstick things with cheese and garlic that are deeeeliscious! I'd go back just for those.
