The store was a lot bigger than I expected (I even remember when it was the Virigin Megastore). It was easy to tell they had a large selection of things, but I really didn't feel like spending a lot of time looking through clothes, so I ended up spending most of the little time I spent shopping for shoes and a purse.
I just don't have the patience anymore to go through racks and racks of clothing unless I know exactly what I'm looking for or if I'm shopping for a special occassion which calls for a specific type of attire. Otherwise, I'd probably just come back for the bags and shoes.

Back to the main reason why I'm Yelping...
Before we even got our food, we already had a good feeling about what was to come. Our first visit, we actually had another chef, but our guy assured us that we'd be taken care of. We didn't eat much the first visit, but we actually came back the next day and brought our friends. We ended up waiting for a while because we wanted "our" chef and our party of five wanted to sit at the bar. The place was pretty packed, but we didn't mind the wait (despite how hungry we all were). To sum it all up, the food was delicious (we were told that they have fresh fish come in daily). I especially like their spicy tuna biscuit, BSC, and tempura ice cream. The staff and chefs were great. We'll definitely be back for more.

Date

The boyfriend and I arrived there first and mentioned that there would be a few others joining us shortly, and we were promptly seated at a table (this was probably the highlight of the entire dinner). As we paged through the menu, the first thing I noticed were the prices, which I thought were pretty high, especially for food you have to physically cook yourself. The boyfriend and I ended up sharing one of their grand opening specials while the rest ordered off their sushi menu. The soup that they served us was cold, when it should have been hot. I didn't really care for the side dishes that came with our meal. I've had better. We had to ask for rice, even though it was supposed to be included with our meal. There were probably only 2 other tables of guests at the restaurant, yet the service was extremely slow. One of my friends even asked where the buzzer on the table was (which is a staple at most Korean establishments). The meat was blah. We probably should have ordered some type of marinated meat instead of the "special". At other places we've gone to, the lack of marinade was compensated with some type of dipping sauce, which they didn't have there (unless you count the shoyu). Our appetites were not satiated after dinner here, even though we practically ate everything, and ended up going next door to Pinkberry.
If you want over-priced, mediocre food, then this place is for you. I'd rather save a couple dollars and head downtown. At least I'd be able to eat all I can.
