Cool-looking building. Garage doors open on a sunny Seattle day. Flat panel TVs w/soccer, golf, and baseball.
Letdown of the month.
Don't be fooled by the snazzy pictures on this Yelp page. I would have taken some with my cellphone, but my fingers were covered in grease... which is the "sauce" these wings are served in.
The wings were small, overcooked, and again... served in grease. Grease-covered toothpicks -- that's what I felt like I was eating.
Service was alright. Only one waitress (I felt bad for her) working the patio, inside, and bar.
Let's pray that Buffalo Wild Wings expands to Seattle as soon as possible Otherwise, I'll have to keep driving to Portland to get my wing fix.

Molly Moon's Ice Cream
Category: Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt
Neighborhood: Wallingford
Green-friendly: Everything (the bowls, spoon, t-shirts) is
Design: simple, yet sophisticated, yet unassuming.
Music: Seattle-trendy.
Ice Cream: Maybe the best I've ever had. (Whomever compares this to Coldstone, Häagen-Dazs, or "my grandmother's" has no business rating Molly Moon's.)
What Top Pot and Zoka are to doughnuts and espresso, so Molly Moon's is to Seattle's best ice cream.

The food is good, but not great. The place is too small, which has kept us from even attempting to make the 4 block walk many times for fear that the wait might top 45 minutes. The service seems to lack (especially in the bar area) when you're not a part of a table full of horny UofW males... which provide the bulk of the tips to the well-endowed waitresses.
If you want Mexican food, there are many other options (Cactus or Matador) where the food is better and the drinks just as plentiful. However, if you're searching for a young crowd with good food and loud-n-rowdy happy hour, Peso's is the place for you.
Dixie's IS Southern BBQ. From the service to the style to setting and decor, Dixie's taste and presentation made me feel like I was back home in Alabama getting top notch BBQ from a roadside joint. In fact, I bumped into another former Alabamian who also confirmed my experience... that has to be a sign from the BBQ gods.
As for some of the other less flattering comments posted about Dixie's on Yelp: So many times I find that people ask for authenticity... yet they complain when the authentic does does match up to their perceptions.

If it did a poor job of being a chain theater (i.e. no popcorn, messy floors/bathrooms, lack of choices, unsafe environment, etc) then a low rating might warrant.
But it's a great theater. Centrally located. Excellent choice of food (KFC, Burger King, Taco Bell, Yogurt, Coffee, Popcorn, Candy, blah blah blah).
My wife and I have already visited twice, and we'll be back for many more.

We casually strolled in mid-afternoon on a Saturday, The bar was super-comfy with hockey on all TVs.
Great setting. Exposed brick walls and wooden beams. Friendly, laid-back staff.
To call the beers "the best" would mean nothing because everybody has different tastes. However, the bartender let us try samples of each (for free) until we found one we wanted to purchase. Enjoyed them all.
Didn't get to try any food... though it all looked and smelled delicious. Plan on returning again to try additional beers as well as entrees.
Sit at the bar at the window to people watch over one Seattle's most trafficked strips.
The wife and I (admittedly Lower Queen Anne yuppies) were given interesting looks upon arrival -- so much for the open-minded liberals.
We loved the food and have already talked about returning.
Southern BBQ joints don't get any better than this...
- Hidden in a back alley.
- Down a set of old stairs.
- Generations of family workers.
- Fun, festive, loud atmosphere.
- Cooked over charcoal... not gas flames.
- Secret 'dry rub' sauce.
The best BBQ restaurant in the capital city for BBQ.

Rendezvous is a world renown BBQ joint which has been featured in countless books, movies, magazines, and TV shows.
Tucked away in an alley just opposite of The Peabody Hotel, their BBQ lives up to all the hype. The specialties are the cheese & sausage plate, the BBQ ribs (with dry rub), and the BBQ sandwiches.
NO trip to Memphis is complete without a trip to this BBQ joint to end all BBQ joints.
Closed on Sunday.

The food meshed perfectly with the sides. The wine selection was vast, and matched perfectly (by our server) with the meal. Decor was simplistic and relaxing. If the plates were $99 a pop... it'd be worth every penny. My only fear in reviewing this restaurant would be sharing such a wonderful place with too many people. To see this gem overrun would travesty.
