I went here as a recommendation from a coworker. I took a friend along for lunch. It was yummy! I got the quinoa salad which had portobella mushrooms, greens and other yummy stuff. Then I got a flourless oatmeal cookie. WOW! This was amazing. I haven't tried the homemade kombucha yet but plan to on my next viist.

The only reason I'm updating this is because I got 2 flake-outs in a row. Last night I went for game night and ordered a beer and some of their delicious spinach and feta quiche (which I've had before and it's yummy). I got the beer. I waited a good 10 or 15 min for the quiche which usually is microwaved so I wasn't sure why it was taking so long. I went up to the counter to find out the girl didn't even put it in! Then this a.m my husband went down to get some coffee and I requested a Large soy chai. Not knowing the contents was wrong, he came back with a medium. No big deal, but it was a regular latte with milk! If it was soy I would've drank it.
I really like the atomsphere there. I hope they get it together a bit more.

I like the atomsphere a lot, even if the furniture is leather. The coffee is really good too. I usually find when I go to independently-owned coffee shops/cafes the coffee is always too strong or heavy. I finally tried it last Saturday and it was, Mmmm...mmmmm good! They're quiches are yummy too. I haven't tried any other food, but it sounds yummy. I've walked by there on some days and evenings and there's live jazz there, which always will draw my attention. I'd check it out.

Even though some of the items are on the pricy side, I thought the food and drinks were delicious! Although it wasn't busy, I also felt the waitstaff took care of us as well. It was my 2nd year wedding anniversary, so my hubby and I got complimentary glasses of champagne which I thought was very nice. I had the Fish and he had the Tuna. The presentation was gorgeous and the portions were perfect. For cocktails, I had the Honey Crisp and he had the Temptation. The mixtures were even and the flavor was amazing. Definitely try their drinks!

Everlasting Tattoo

I got my first tattoo here and I'm so glad I did! My husband had gotten one here a few years ago and suggested I check them out. I really liked Luke's work, especially his floral designs. I have to say the first time walking in there everyone was very professional. I was a little nervous on the day of my appointment because I hadn't seen the drawing of my tattoo, but when Luke showed it to me I was floored! He couldn't have caught the image any better, which made me feel so much more comfortable. Again, everyone that works there is really professional and the place is very clean!

If you're vegetarian, you won't find lots of options (hence the rating). BUT I have to say the tamale and quesadilla (w/ spinach) was delicious! I really love corn tortillas over flour now. I haven't tried the drinks yet so my rating may change because they sounded and looked really good. Also, I used to be a meat-eater and those dishes sounded good too. They also give you these fried chick peas for an appy which are yummy!

My husband and I went here for V-day on a whim and we got a table in the bar area which is still quite cozy. Lots of liquor choices! I recommend the cosmo at happy hour. The food was delicious. since my husband and I are vegetarian there were lots of good choices, but we do eat fish and the pappardelle dish (?spelling) was amazing!

I just completed the Holistic Health Practitioner program and I am a new person! I have witnesses! They not only offer enriching classes for your mind, body and spirit, but the instructors are so supportive and caring. They also have a professional massage program and I totally recommend going to the student clinic. I've gotten a deep tissue session and a Vibrational session. It's only $40 per session or you can buy a series.

I was visiting a friend from the area and this used to be her old hang-out in high school. I really have to give their Soy Chai Lattes a huge thumbs up! Talk about consistency! We went there after dinner one night, came back the next a.m. and they're delicious! There wasn't too much chai which some coffee shops do. Everything was even. However, they could've played some music to spice up the atomsphere. I don't know if their speakers were broken or what. I'd come back here if I was in the area again.
This review is for the massage because I haven't taken any yoga classes there...yet. I've been going here for about 3 years and I think once I didn't resonate with a massage therapist. He just went a little too deep, even when I told him to lighten up on the pressure, he would proceed to get too deep again. However, overall, I love this place because it's like a sanctuary for me. You can escape from the city and busy life for a nice hour or hour and a half and then step out feeling relaxed, blissful and just plain good. It can get busy at the front desk, especially when a yoga class is about to start so you have massage and yoga clients all up there at once. But that's really the only time. I always get friendly people on the phone too when making appointments and they always make good recommendations for massage therapists if you're not sure. Now I need to try their yoga teachers!

Notorious For Hair

I'm been going to Christopher for 3 years and I'm so happy he's at Notorious for Hair because, well he's close to my neighborhood and it's the cutest place ever! Even though I've only been there once, I really liked it. Christopher just knows what to do, that's why I haven't left him. He always tells his clients if he's moving to a different location or notifies you if he can't keep an appt for whatever reason. He's super accomodating and just super fun! I've had the same haircut for 2 years running now and he still knows how to make it different and unique. I recommend him to all my friends and coworkers.
