OMG FORKS!
Went tonight for opening weekend. I think this place will do well. A good variety of tasty dishes, and the service is good, though omnipresent at times. They are a little excessive on the plate/flateware changing, and for a tapas place, I think I can use the same fork throughout the meal.
Really interesting/bright decor, a great change from the old restaurant (SOLO 1530) that was there.
The dishes were on the small side, even for tapas. Beef empanada, goat cheese crepes, pork medallions, cured salmon, and vanilla custard were all great. Paella was ok, but not crispy on the bottom, and a bit too much tomato.
A huge selection of wines, and sangria was good too.
I will go again for sure.

Inside I immediately noticed the big screen and I loved the "action photos" projected on it, neat concept. I also think the space has a good theme going with their color choices, but yes the coat check should be near the door, not way in the back. I am glad I held onto my jacket. Also, lack of a clear dancefloor makes me think little thought actually went into the design of the club.
Drinks were a mixed bag, though upstairs seemed to be better (fewer people to serve?), but I would hate having to pay $12 for what they were serving. If they served a super strong drink, then all of us would go away saying so and telling people the same, even if that isn't your norm. The cookies from Suvan's Café & Bakery were excellent. The salad wraps by Citizen Bar were also quite good. Never got to try whatever it was the the go-go girls (yes when you wear those boots with that skirt you ARE a go-go girl, no matter what your real title might be) were passing on a tray, they seemed to rush by me every time. Did I smell bad?
I have seen what a good yelp event can be and what a poor event can be. The "clubs" never seem to get it right (see also Landmark Yelp Event from 7/26/07). You don't have to give us a bunch of free shit (though that helps, makes us think you have $$ to spend on marketing), but you MUST make the best impression you can, and this goes from the doorman all the way down to the barback. Apparently we weren't feeling it.

Came here on a Monday night with some friends. They were out of brisket by the time we got there, which disappointed one of our group, but he was quickly put at ease when he got his ribs. I thought the baby back ribs were on par with any good ribs I have ever head. The dry rubbing was fantastic, didn't need extra sauce. Though I did coat each rib in some of their 3 fantastic sauces. Don't be afraid of the vinegar based sauce, it adds a flavor not commonly found in a bbq sauce and is worth trying.
I will be back for sure.

Their design ideas are awesome. They do the best job at making things work in small spaces. This goes right down to their flat-pack stuff most of which can fit in your tiny city car.
Their innovation in functionality of furniture is beyond what you will see just about everywhere, at least on this scale.
Their quality pretty much sucks. Most stuff is made from manufactured materials and low quality fabrics.
So you pay for ideas and innovation, not quality. If you are ok with that, AND WITH DEALING WITH THE CROWDS ON THE WEEKENDS, then by all means, shop your hearts out at IKEA.

(do I need to write more?)
Ok - I think this place has become a bit more popular lately. Especially since Dixie Kitchen (right next door) was mentioned as Obama's favorite place in the city. The wait there is really bad and I think people step over to Calypso instead. On Saturday night there was a 20 minute wait for a table.
I love, love, love their jerk chicken. People I was with also loved the various fish they offer.
