My experience shows me getting a table on the weekend can take upwards of an hour and change, so that being said, bring something to read or people you'll want to talk to.
I'm not a big tomato person, but their broiled tomatoes are impressive. So sweet. The Country Ham Biscuit knocked me silly, as did the Biscuits and Gravy. The Eggs Rothko? Well, I wanted more of that dish, it was good, but not as filling as I'd have wanted it to be. Lovely, though.
French Press coffee from Egg has SOLD me on getting my own French Press. If I could only eat one thing and drink another for the rest of my life, I'd OD on the fresh biscuits and the french press coffee.
I just wish the clientele didn't drift so strongly towards the obnoxiously hipster gene pool, or maybe a less talkative cross section of said folk.
I go every Sunday now. Every god damn Sunday. That's me in the big green headphones.

This place might be a gateway to heaven. Unsure so far. Full review to follow once I decide how to deal with my burgeoning chef crush on Christina Tosi.

LOVELY LOVELY MEAL. The tater tots are off the god damn chain, somewhere near Hush Puppies and still awesome. I had a bbq pulled pork breakfast sandwich. Seat at the bar was nice. Coffee good and strong. The staff was amazingly friendly. They serve beer too! Had one of the chocolate chip cookies to go, and found it to be great. This is the new jazz standard, motherfuckers.

Minus 1 star for not knowing how to handle a mixed cash/credit reciept.
But in the end, my chicken with bamboo and mushrooms was tasty and about worth the 10 dollar price.
And finally: never ever take a date to this place. So ridiculously depressing on a Tuesday night in W-Burg. Even Sea's THUMPING BASS IN YOUR FACE AND NOBODY CARES IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT environment would have been preferable.

So it's a Saturday ... mid afternoon ... kinda bored, watching Serenity. Find their delivery menu from my menu library, and then I made the call. Delivery order made for the T Hanks vegan pie (BBQ Chicken, Bacon, Soy Mozzerella, Soy Cheddar, and BBQ Sauce) ... Interested to see if the meats and sauces are vegan too... Garlic Knots, and a Vegan Treats Brownie; placed on 3:28 on a Saturday afternoon. They said 40 to 45 minutes.
Got here at 4pm. 10 minutes early, yet, I wouldn't give them points as 30 minutes is how long delivery should take.
Pizza was pretty good. The sauce was a bit standard, chicken in smaller pieces than the buffalo chix pie.
Garlic Knots came with a tomato sauce as weak as the boring flavorless knots you're supposed to dip. I remember the knots as having been better at the store itself.
The vegan brownie, which came with half an oreo and an oreo icing on top of it, is amazing.

Before your review was written, they had sold their shares.
I've had nothing by great service and Great to Excellent (3.5 - 5 stars) burritos from them.
The stores are well maintained. The line moves quick. Online ordering and fax ordering is a snap.
People, swallow your pride for a second and think for a second before you bash something solely for growing and being corporate.
They've got very good practices when it comes to how they raise, feed, and treat their animals and how they provide quality ingredients.
Tastes good, made well, and not incredibly pricey (as can be the case for Manhattan), I like this place a lot.
Date

My mom, who teaches at Parsons, bumped into some of her students, they were happy to see her, which was cool, and put a few more notches into the Null column I had for my respect of their populace.
Mom had the French Toast, which I might have next time I go, that's how good it was. Dad and I both ordered the Country Ham Biscuit with Cheese Grits. The cheese grits are now my favorite side in the city. Texture: perfect. Ratio of grits to cheese: impossibly, better than perfect. That Grafton cheddar they use, here I'm assuming they use the Grafton from the Ham Biscuit for the grits, has one hell of a bite to it.
After my dalliance with Jimmy's, I've now remembered who the real brunch kings are, and I won't forget it any time soon.
