I love the concept. Walk inside, make your own yogurt sundae, and then pay by the weight of your creation. The yogurt was good, but very solid and icy, perhaps too cold for the flavors to be fully realized.

Great for late night pizza and food. No booze, so if you are getting take out, stop by one of the local markets for beer on the way home.
The place in Philly for Belgian beer. Got in an order of fries before the kitchen closed, and was surprised by how good they were. Service was good, but I can image it getting crowed in the small bar on a busy weekend night.

Steaks On South

This place was packed with teens when we went in, so it must be a south street favorite. The cheesesteak was good, though the meat was somewhat fatty. The service was friendly but slow, even when the crowd died down.
This place is probably the first place for a beer if you're walking into old city from the Comfort Inn.The atmosphere and beer selection is what make this bar different than the others in the area. The food is good, and the service was just fine.
Doing the tourist thing, you gotta stop here. The thing that made these steaks different than the others I had, and I had plenty in Philly, is they put the wiz on top of the steak, instead of underneath. This made it a tad less messy, and the cheese was one of the first tastes. The bread was also the chewiest I had while in Philly.
Great service, and you can walk down to pinery park after you eat
Great pizza. A real surprise.
