I went to this dumpy bar last night for a birthday party.  While standing near the bar, a bartender jumped over the bar, kicking me in the face.  As I was drinking at the time, the glass slammed into my teeth and gums, causing them to bleed.  When I approached the bartender, he informed me that he owned the bar.  He explained that he would not aplogize, and that I was a "pu**y" for complaining about the bleeding gums he gave me.  He then had me thrown out of the bar (where all of my friends were gathered for the party), while screaming across the room "this guy's a f"in pu**y."

Not only will I never go back there, but I am filing a lawsuit this week for damages and would strongly discourage anyone from stepping foot in here.

Ron sold my condo in the Marina and got me more than what I was asking!  He also sold my brother's condo and represented one of my employees on her condo purchase.  He did an incredible job marketing the unit, and was tremendous help during negotiations.  I have recommended to multiple people that they use Ron as their agent, and I will continue to do so.

I hear a lot of things about the Ferry Building restaurants.  Some say the food is over-priced, others skeptically remark that organic food is for suckers.  But I defy anyone to find a better lunch in town than that offered at Tsar Nicholai.  The truffle-infused caviar may have sounded like a gimmick at first, but I think it may have actually changed my life.  And the ahi sandwich on pastry-like bread seemed to make the stresses of life melt away.

Ok, it's true.  You need financial aid from a major lending institution to eat here more than a couple times a year.  But if money isn't for luxuries like this, then you might as well quit your job.

Ok. I admit it-this is the best ice cream on the planet.  Anyone who disagrees is simply an anti-chain snob, and I simply can't stand to share my eliptical-unfriendly treat with anyone that closed-minded.  Sure, I am the guy who owned the rights to open Cold Stones in SF until they totally screwed me, but when that bitter taste in my mouth takes hold, I wash it down with cake-batter flavored ice-cream with yellow cake and rainbow sprinkles.  Chain-stores are evil, you say?  I say Gold Bless America.

This place is awesome.  Some reviewers mistakenly believe this to be a chain, but it a locally-owned family business.  I went in the other day to buy a chain, and the chain-cutting-machine broke.  The employee helping me proceeded to cut the chain with a bolt-cutter (quite the challenging task!).  The staff was very helpful and the selection was great.  This is the ONLY hardware store I go to.

I kept hearing the great buzz about Joey & Eddie's Pescheria and decided to check it out tonight.  Let me start by saying that the atmosphere is delightful.  The beautiful light blue walls and colorful tile, complemented by a cute bar and charming outdoor seating really made for a fantastic dining atmosphere.  I highly recommend the creamy polenta with dungeness crab and garlic chives.  As a polenta connoisseur, I can safely say that it rivals any I have tried.  As for my main course, I went with risotto with prawns, braised baby leeks, rucola, and porcini mushrooms (I liked it so much that I literally noted the description in my handy blackberry).  It was delicious (not a word I use lightly), as was my brother's Petrale Sole (I couldn't resist a sample).  

The service was also excellent.  I am more demanding of good service than anyone I know, and the wait staff here is courteous, worked hard and did not disappoint.

I highly encourage you to check-out this restaurant, which is destined to be around for a very long time.
