Bland and overpriced comes to mind. $2 for the smallest and most unremarkable taco I've ever eaten.
Skip it. Drive through Taco Bell and avoid the heat. You'll be happier for it.

The place seemed pretty understaffed, as it was almost empty, but still took a while to just get a beer.

Go on a Monday or Tuesday for the best Happy Hour and to avoid the crowd. Happy Hour is 5-8, everyday, starting earlier on days of Dodger's games and often includes free jukebox and pool.
If you stick around as late as 10, you can catch a good crowd and a good beat. Get there as ear;y as you can afford to. The staff is excellent, and great for conversation when they have the time.

Had a decent lunch here. Sandwich was a little dry and unimpressive, but the staff was great. There's a very comfortable small town atmosphere, which is your main attraction here.
Excellent coffee, good atmosphere. If I lived in the nieghborhood I could be a regular. Movie nights on Friday draws a big crowd. Highly recommended.
I enjoyed my time at Backstage very much. I can't vouch for the food, but the drinks are priced well and served fast. Excellent staff, great atmosphere. Pool table, photo booth, smoking outside. Street parking is kind of a pisser, but it wasn't too hard to park close.
Backstage has one of the best kinds of atmospheres. Small bar, friendly, intimate. It would be easy to become a regular here.

Wide selection of beer. Good food. I recommend the Hawaiian style burger. The wait staff was a little slow moving, but we were told they were training a new bartender. This is a restaurant that is more for environment. Outside seating with smoking area and great view of the harbor. Nice classic rock feel.
The staff here was absolutely excellent. Spent many days there when I was in Florence last. They also have special events every night. Plenty of pool tables, and the food was excellent. I had a mushroom swiss burger that was incredible.
