Forward Footer is conveniently nestled alongside Fresh Boutique in PB. So you can find a great outfit AND get the perfect shoes to match at the same time. Which is exactly what I did a couple days ago.
I don't know if I would call myself a shoe-lover (but what girl isn't really?), but when I walked into Forward my eyes lit up and fixated on the wall of sparkling new footwear. I scanned the selection slowly (unable to pay attention to my friend who was talking to me, to his slight dismay) and soon noticed that I actually liked most all of the shoes! I'm kinda picky and it bothers me when a shoe selection consists of mostly hooker boots and ungodly high heels that make my feet hurt just looking at them. While Forward has there number of sexy night-out pumps, there are also plenty of cool wearable flats and casual sneakers.
I looked down at the boots I was wearing and could easily see in the bright light that these were DONE FOR! How long had I had them? I couldn't even remember. Faded, cracked, eeeeww! So it was then that I knew I would probably be leaving with a new pair, and I knew I was in the right place.
Reasonable prices, actually, better prices than I expected for the styles vs somewhere like Nordstrom. Great customer service ;)
Oh ya, so I got an adorable pair of brown mary janes. I'll post a pic here soon. So check out Forward Footwear!

Thank goodness they had AC since I stopped by the hottest day of the year yet. So I think them for that!
I note\iced that they had come nice locally hand made jewerly.
This boutique is worth stopping at on your next spree. I don't think there was anything particularly spectacular inside, but the selection is limited by their space. I will probably check back here once in while.
Most clothes were a bit too big for me but that's the case anywhere since I'm only 5 foot nothing, size 0. Don't be jealous, it makes shopping a real pain.

In agreement with most other reviewers: GREAT food and LOW prices.
The biggest salad rolls you've ever seen. More salad burritos!
I really enjoyed their peanut sauce! I will go back just to get something I can dip in that peanut sauce.
I highly recommend the 5 spice game hen. It's just soaked in a lovely sauce that seeps out of every bite.
CONS: Service
We had to ask for everything, plates, forks, serving spoons...
A group 7 ate to our stomachs content for only about $15 per person including some Sake's and appetizers.

I wouldn't call myself a sushi snob or connoisseur, so I just go for flavorful rolls, which they don't disappoint on. I really like the Samurai Roll and the Red Caterpillar.
The service was pleasant and the side patio dining on a sunny day is refreshing aside from the cars rolling by a few feet from you. There is nothing good to say for decor or ambiance. The four person table didn't fit four people, 2 plates of rolls and drinks. I had a small corner of the table for my soy plate.
Prices are reasonable. A simple sushi lunch.
Try somewhere else if you are looking for a more formal dinner out with some atmosphere.
And would they please get a new logo!

I think the service is great. You will most likely be served by the same people each time you visit. They take special care preparing your order and will bring it out to you. Speaking of bringing your order out, I like this location because of the covered outdoor seating. There are a few, again simple, plastic tables and chairs in the courtyard just outside the door of YMM. This suits me well for a quiet outdoor breakfast.

I like the retro decor. It's not a big place but it looks like there is enough room for a few people to get their groove on. There are several seating options: tables up front, big bar, couch-like gathering area on a lower level and a VIP room.
I ordered one of their specialty drinks (you can find a list on their website), quite yummy. There are also drink specials before 10pm.
I can't wait to check out the Jazz night on Mondays.

I was on a mission for some decent breakfast and free wi-fi in a cozy little coffee shop. That's exactly what I got when I discovered Carpe Diem.
The Rise & Shine omelet was really really good and I got a soy latte that had a lot more character than I expected with it's fancy cup and chocolate stick (photo posted). They add extra little touches of sophistication to everything, which is expected with the higher prices they charge.
The place is small and I would have split if it got busy because I felt like I was taking up space as I lingered with my laptop.
Friendly staff, and I really liked the decor. They need to finish posting their menu on the wall, so people can decide what to order while they're in line.
Get a screen door to cut down on the aggressive flies!
So overall, it's nice. I'll come again someday. But maybe for a breakfast date, not laptop study-time.
