Wow, the hype kills the experience. Bread was dry and the meat was blah. Great Steak at the mall tastes so much better. The cheese fries at least made this two stars.

Amazing place. This partly reminded me of Hang Art in San Francisco since the place showed off great, varied local art, but at affordable prices.
Michele helped me out and was great giving me a background on technique and stories about what I bought. Our office's walls thanks this place.

It's hard to give this place two stars since there are 50 pictures of past guests on the walls. (Does anyone think most of the Jay Leno photos are from the same day? Eh, maybe it's his denim shirt / denim jeans outfit)

I want to love this place. It reminds me of some of the diners in San Francisco (over-priced, but nostalgic). I ordered a Woody Allen and the waiter was touting the size of it.
Sadly, I've been to Manny's many times and this sandwich could not compare. Plus, it was significantly more and drier than I hoped.
My wife loved the tilapia (~$15) so I'll try something else next time. She did agree the bill (including the $7 chicken finger entree) was too damn much.

I love this place. We went for Valentine's so I feel the added ambiance was well worth the $$$.
I was hyped up thinking this thing was Brazzaz on steroids, but it's way different. The emphasis is more on that grazing tables. The sauces rock and as the waiter told us, "it's damn fun mixing and matching the flavors." Sadly, I threw out my "avoid the carbs, load up on the meat" advice and had a ton of lobster bisque.
Small plates are good since you spend time getting up to walk back to the grazing tables. It worked off (barely) all the gourmet cheeses I sampled. Damn good!
The "gaucho" meats came. Don't come here for the red meat since you'd be a bit disappointed. I did love the seafood and game meats since I still had the mindset of Brazzaz in my head. It was a great surprise.
Overall, great stuff. It won't be a place to go frequently, but perfect for special occasions.

It's hard to compete with the Apple Store on Michigan avenue, but these guys are smart and attentive. I know my geek stuff, but I walked in perusing the external hard drives. One of the guys walked up and actually went in depth about firewire, eSata (need a Mac Pro), and other options. Not bad if I wasn't well read on the subject. He even asked for my name and was cool. Old skool sales. I like it.
A lady walked in looking for wifi and the guy at the front was Google Mapping the neighborhood for her. Nice.
Too bad there weren't a bunch of people in the store, but I bet they stay in business with the Mac repairs since they have a repair lab in the back.

We went for lunch and I ordered a huge piece of Prime Rib. It included these potato discs on the side. The cut was bigger than the regular Prime Rib at Lawry's plus it matched the taste. Of course, at lunch time, the entree was "affordable" for this place.

If you are over 22, don't bother. Cheesy.
Blah. I want to back this place, but I can't. As mentioned, Indian food is rare in the South Loop. I actually ate food from here twice hoping I can have a great experience.
Problems:
1) Portions are tiny for the price. You would think that taste would compensate for the size, but sadly, it does not.
2) One of the expensive dishes (Mixed Grill) we got looked promising, but the meat was dry. I was thinking these pieces were leftovers from a lunch buffet.
3) Someone in our group thought the naan filled with potatos had a hint of coffee. That was weird.
The only other time I'll try is maybe for that lunch buffet. At least there will be enough options to not be disappointed. Ho hum.

The bread crust was great. Perfect crisp with a slightly chewy top. We got a sausage and tomato pizza and it was top notch.
The best thing was the speedy delivery. He promised 45 minutes to an hour and it came in 20 minutes.
I just wish it was cheaper so I could fatten up on this.
