Went here on the basis of an Urban Spoon recommendation about a week ago, while waiting for our tires to be changed out (walked a bitterly cold half mile from F&F to get here, so we were motivated diners!). Turned out to be a great recommendation. We warmed ourselves successfully by the hibachi grills, and really loved the meals to which we were treated. The service was warm and friendly, and the meal comes with soup, salad, and dessert... so we ended up with a doggie box to take home with us. We ordered a sushi appetizer (and were generally quite impressed with the range of sushi choices available) and were very pleased with its freshness and preparation. My one nit-pick: the salad was overly drenched with the house dressing, and was more like a diner-style salad of iceberg than a nice restaurant-style salad with a more palatable selection of greens.

That aside, this is one of the most cost-effective hibachi houses I've *ever* eaten at, so we'll definitely be returning.

Dr. Joe is trained and certified to the highest standard, has a friendly bed-side manner, and is able to listen to and discuss all manner of issues clearly and simply. On top of all that... his treatments are unbelievably effective!

We order take-out from these guys pretty regularly, and the service even for that is excellent (first place I've ever been waiting for food at the bar where the waitress brought me a glass of water!). The one thing to pay attention to: Different cooks have different spice-level comprehension. Some days when I order mild, I get mild. Some days when I order mild... I get oh-my-God hot. I deal with it (though it usually means I can't eat any left-overs, given the way that spicy food increases its heat factor the longer it sits), but it may be a useful warning for the spice-challenged to keep in mind.

This place may not be Zagat-rated like the King and I, but the food is just as good... and the prices are very reasonable. I'm not a bubble tea fanatic the way the first reviewer is, but I know a good Thai iced tea when I taste one. This place seems to be owned and operated by a family of immigrants, so you're getting the real deal on the food. I saw several "volcano" dishes being flamed at table-side while we were there. The ambiance is comfortable and pleasant, not really up-scale, and the service is prompt and very friendly.

We've gotten away from eating here in the past year or so, ever since my husband thought he got some Shrimp Pud Thai that contributed to tummy troubles. Since my meal then was still up to its normal standard, and there were other things going on that could have led to the gastrointestinal rebellion... I'm not going to ding them too hard, just giving a shrimp warning.

Our favorite Thai restaurant: Clean & affordable. I've eaten in the restaurant at least a dozen times, and ordered their food as carry out once, and never noticed any change in the quality of what they delivered. I've had their fresh house spring rolls quite a few times (VERY tastey, though nothing like the egg rolls you get from a Chinese restaurant--all fresh ingredients, non-fried, and if there's meat, that's the only thing that's been cooked); quite a few of the different platters; and their Hong Kong steak entree. I really enjoyed all but the duck (which seemed a little over-fried, and was a pain to separate the actual meat from all the bones--it was presented as a whole duck chopped in half). My husband says their Pud Thai noodles are the best he's ever eaten, and hasn't ever ordered anything different. Friends we've taken with us to eat there have also complimented the food, service, and prices. One thing not to be missed is their Thai iced tea... two of our friends who are lactose intolerant ordered it without the whipped cream on top, and reported it was still fantastic.

Over the course of this summer, the owner has been investing in quite a few upgrades to his space. There is now extensive, gravelled parking, and it looks like they'll be ready to go with a barber shop and hunt club in the next few months. There's even a rumor of an acupuncturist setting up shop there. Truly, now, there is no reason not to visit!

A really fun daytrip from Milwaukee, featuring shopping and restaurants in a country farm setting. The owner keeps updating what's available in his store, so no two trips are quite alike, so we return regularly. He's also in the process of adding a whole new barn to the shopping options, so his gourmet pots and pans selection will expand; he'll have space for a quilter's spot; and is continually adding new lines of merchandise for a wide range of tastes. Since the owner is a major Halloween fan, he's even going to open a two-floor super-store of costumes and other Halloween paraphernalia.

I was given a chance to see "Ah, Wilderness" here last weekend, and am still enthralled by the experience. The acting and presentation were top-notch... and the ambiance... heavenly. Of course, this may have been somewhat influenced by the absolutely amazing perfect-Fall-day weather we were blessed with, making a walk in the woods de rigeur. The plans for the new indoor theatre are well underway, the concessions are out of the ordinary (think gourmet, organic), and somehow the space ends up reminding the visitor of an up-scale scout camp (as oxymoronic as that description is!). I will absolutely be returning any chance I get.

The best thing about this place is that it offers a free shuttle to and from Miller Park. It's a non-standard sports bar with a decent restaurant in the back, and sufficient TVs everywhere that even if you're in the restaurant area you have a good view of whatever games are on. The food is good and service attentive. They even give you drinks in glasses you can take along for the ride to watch the Brewers play. Given the plentiful free parking in the neighborhood, and the priority exit for the shuttles, their service is a welcome departure from the hour it would normally take to escape the ballpark after a normal game.

Another spot within walking distance of work, this place offers a wide range of Italian-style food, including pizzas and pastas and most of the other things you'd expect. The service is prompt--and on my first visit even listened to our complaint of having walked into an ice-chest, and fixed the thermostat setting for us. They were not able to take our order and deliver our food so that we were there for only our allotted hour for lunch; luckily I was there with my boss, so it wasn't a big deal on that day, but not sure I'll go back for lunch for that reason. The chicken piccata was nicely done and flavorful, though, so I'll likely be back for dinner some day.

I've eaten here a few times for lunch now, and have to say I'm really pleased with their selection, presentation, and price. Yesterday we even sat out on their patio, which is *right* on the Milwaukee river. (Of course, the river being what it is, this is not always as picturesque as it sounds--a few times the wind blew the wrong way and I caught a whiff of an interesting rotting fish stench...) The patio is situated so that even at the noon hour, there are shady spots protecting you from the sun and glare. The interior ambiance is art-house like, with funky textures and wall cut-outs all putting a modern spin on a middle eastern look and feel. (Because of that river small issue, I am likely to eat inside more often than not in the future.) I have particularly enjoyed their stuffed date appetizer, their beet salad and their Shawarma sandwich. I've been satisfied each time I've been there with the selections I've chosen.

We tried this place for the first time last night and were blown away by the quality of the food. We had grape leaves and crispy phyllo cheese rolls to start off, the ottoman dish (for two) with the bulgur pilaf, oriental rice, and a side dish of carrots and zucchini. We finished our meal with the orange creme brulee and the pineapple rice pudding. Everything we tried was perfectly prepared and presented. The service was top-notch. And the jazz pianist entertaining everyone added a lovely touch to the evening. We will absolutely be returning.
