Jumpin Jupiter this place is the bees knees! I went for lunch and the food and service were wonderful! Clever and affordable dishes and adorable decor places this OC institution as one of my favorites.
The word "Kitsch" doesent even do this place justice. The moment you see the Cactus streelights in the parking lot you know you're in for something special. The menu is all about the combos and specials and the service is quick and friendly. None of the dishes are too out of the ordinary except for a strange yet tasty green creamy corn soup, and an additional italian menu.
What do you do for lunch in Tustin when Claro's is closed and the mention of the name "Subway" turns your stomach? Try the Sandwich Box. The menu has about 20 varieties of specialty hot/cold sandwiches and very tasty soups and salads. While offering not as much sandwich for your money as Claro's, they do go bigger than subway for about the same price. Last time i was there i was responsible for one of two spills and the staff was not only very nice about it but were very prompt in cleaning it up.
im glad i finally got to give this place a try. a very cute place to go for a date or any other meeting. i had meatloaf and the girl had ravioli and we both couldnt get enough of the bread and the dip they serve. the food is above average but so are the prices. i imagine their breakfast is pretty good but i dont know when ill get a chance to try it for myself.

This place be totally boss. They sell a wide variety of cheese and fancy party foods and they just opened up a wine cellar next door. I go here for lunch 9 times out of 10 and im rarely disappointed, they almost always have some sort of special dish or tasty cookie or pastry for me to try. The staff is made up of kids i go to art school with so once in a while ill get something nice for free, but you're more likely to leave with a smile on your face from the great service they dish out.
I dont get up to gardena much these days but as luck would have it this last week me and some friends were in need of some tasty nibbles. so i fired up yelp and lo and behold this little gem popped right up. i had driven past it earlier so it wasnt hard to find my way back and parking was no big deal. When we got inside i stood around gawking at the cashier waiting for her to address me, but she was pretty busy (which would be the theme for this meal) When we got seated and handed menus i spotted the Spaghetti Omlette. I was pretty much sold after that. The staff was very friendly even though they were super busy and took about 20-30 minutes to give us our check and the place was very clean. The french bread they gave us with the meal was to die for also.
My 2nd "go-to" place for lunch. Good variety, decent prices and a cool laid back atmosphere. The perfect place to fuel your day at the beach
I like the atmosphere of the Costa Mesa location better but the menu is identical, therefore its my one of favorite mexican places in all of southern california.
