We woke up starving and wanted a burger (we woke up at Noon). We went to Trey's Sports Bar [http://www.yelp.com/bi...] and met some friends, then had another engagment at West Alabama Ice House, then came here.
This was my first time here and I have to tell you, Score! All day Saturday and Sunday they have $3 Bloody Mary's , $3 Bellini's, $3 Mimosas (which after 4 becomes bottomless). That's right ALL DAY, Saturday and Sunday! Can you believe that?
I tried all three and stuck with the Bloody Mary's and so did a 4 or 5 other people in our group. We actually drank them out of Bloody Mary mix! Here's where it get's good... they MADE more. They have their own homemade Bloody Mary mix. YES! Incase I've been coy with you and maybe not as forthright as you might be used to... I LOVE THE Bloody Mary's here.
In addition to excellent drinks, they have a very nice pool table and a Wii. Definitely required for Sunday Funday.
The place is lavished in red velvet cushioned seats with a nice Irish Pub-ness. It has a good selection of beers on tap a full bar and a full menu.
I did not eat here (remember, I just had a burger), but I saw the fish and chips and will try them when I'm here again.
Lastly, the service was fast and friendly. This is a fun place.

The service is very friendly and fast and they have a good selection of beers to keep everyone satisfied.
There is A LOT of seating outside under shade trees so mozy up and pick a bench (is that where the word picnic came from?).
This ice house has a basketball net for shooting some hoops and also a dedicated horse shoes area if you like to throw things.
I enjoyed my experience here and would definitely recommend and will be back again.

Yelp Elite Squad Event @ Fleming's Prime…

UNTIL NOW
Farrah hit the bulls eye with her Walther PPK!
Fleming's hors d'oeuvres were tasty and they kept them coming. But the best part was actually the service. The wait staff was attentive and as quick as they could be getting all of those Zodiac martinis for everyone.
Cameron Hughes also provide the wine and I had the Pinot Noir and their Meritage (rhymes with heritage). I actually like the Meritage the most.
Before I got down to winning some money at the poker table I got my massage from Petite Retreat. Petite Retreat specializes in couple's treatments including a lavender infused bath before you get your massage. Check out their web site at http://www.petiteretre.... I can't wait to go.
In addition to seeing familiar faces, it was great to see how large the Houston Yelp community has grown. Congrats again Farrah!
And in the words of Cory O. "I promise, promise, PROMISE to write more so I can actually come to Elite events without feeling guilty! :)"

It is owned by "Mama", that's what we call her. Her and her son help keep the bar running smoothly.
There's a juke box, a fooz ball table, a pool table, dart boards and TV's everywhere if eating and drinking are not enough fun for you.
Oh and guys, don't try and use the ladies bathroom, it upsets Mama.

I usually get one of the pizzas but I've had their wonderful sanwiches and salads too.
The service is mediocre to good and at lunch time it can get packed real quick so get there early or late.

I really like the venue too. Many of the vendors, if not all, were there. They all were friendly and they had a very nice collection of eclectic wares to show off.
Congrats to Farrah on her first open event too! It was definitely a success.

My favorite drink so far, The Dark and Stormy. The first time I had one was at the Top of the Hyatt in San Diego. I'd not seen one on a menu since and that was about 4 years ago.
If you like dark rum spicy rum w/a bite of ginger, give this a try. Cheers!

I'm a huge fan. I love the plethora of old school alcoholic concoctions. The drinks here are made the old fashioned way with premium liquors and for the most part, worth the $8 price tag for one of their drinks.

Seriously the best HH on this side of Houston. $3-$4 martinis, $2 beers, $2 hot sake, $2 appetizers, $1 sushi, plus 50% selected rolls (there's like 12-14 to choose from). It is from 5-7 Monday-Friday.
All of that AND they take reservations!!!
The HH food, sushi and rolls that I've had have all been fresh and excellent. Some of the rolls were drowned in a special sauce, but the sauce was good.
The martinis are very good with the usual flavors but also add in lycheetini and pineapple upside down tini. The lycheetini is easily the favorite among my friends.
The service here is always friendly but as far as being good service... that is usually hit or miss.
I will probably never come here unless it is HH, so during M-F, from 5-7, it gets 4 stars.

Trey's Sports Bar and Grill

You were closed for a few weeks because of "various" reasons and yet, my girl (D'Ann P) and I felt like refugees. We needed our Trey's fix. We tried Big Woodrow's and even Sam's Boat to get our Trey's fix but it was like getting a salisbury steak when you want a porter house. Just not the same.
We love how "everyone" knows our name. The beer is cold and the food, so surprisingly, is DELISH; especially the wings (you can even get these grilled!) and nachos.
We'll see you again soon Trey's Sports Bar and Grill.

This is a NY Pizzeria franchise. The pizza's are made fresh to order and there is a large menu of pizza's, pasta and salads to choose from.
This particular venue is very nicely decorated with a black granite countertop bar, nice booths and tables.
The service is great (ask for Bill) if you sit at the bar.
I would have given this place 4 stars, but the spicy sausage pizza I ordered had meager thin strips of sausage and it wasn't very spicy.
