But to be fair the other people I was eating with loved their food. I heard the tempura vegetables were great. Unfortunatley my experience was just mediocre. Thats the way it goes though, but I will give them another shot , roll with the punches and try a different dish. I'll keep you posted.

They have a descent selection of beers on tap, I believe on this particular day I decided to go with a pint of "Old Speckled Hen" pretty, pretty, pretty good.
If I remember correctly, East Blvd Bar and Grille also has some pretty tasty food, like chili cheese fries. And the friendly staff works hard to make up for the cramped space and less than accommodating indoor seating. Also watch your step walking down from the bar to go out the back door, that one's a doozy. And this would make stop #2 on the "Bike Bar Crawl"

My friend and I made this our first stop on a little trek I like to call "The Bike Bar Crawl" which basically consists of bars I can ride my beach cruiser to, Ed's Place was stop numero uno. Keep your eyes open for stop 2 and see if you can connect the dots....
P.S. it might be in reverse.

I wasn't feeling the thin crispy crust, or the weird square slices. And way, way too much pepperoni.
There were some good things though. It wasn't all bad. The crust though too thin and crispy for my taste did have a nice buttery texture and plenty of flavor. You can tell the guys at Donato's know what they're doing, its nothing against them, its just not the kind of pizza I like. Try it for yourself and let me know what you think, I've got an open mind.
The views may be excellent here, overlooking the Intercoastal Waterway unfortunately I did not get a chance to appreciate the vista due to the bright lights outside from the movie set.
They were shooting a movie on location at The Bluewater Grille that night, so maybe that had something to do with our sub-par level of service, but who's to say. All I know is the food was mediocre and the service was poor. Not impressed Bluewater.
They have great coffee and desserts too, Cafe' Plaids cookies are exquisite; they are soft, chewy and full of sweet goodness.
The steak was delectable, cooked to order and very thick, damn good. The mashed potatoes were really great as well. And Charleston's has a very casual atmosphere with a nice mix of OU students and travelers passing by on the Highway, or staying at one of the nearby hotels. Very Convenient and very good.
If you don't go in expecting a high dollar steak place, then you will love Charleston's because honestly the food is great, the staff is fast and friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable.
