The agua fresca is always delicious, and they seem to have three or four flavors, which seems to be more than most places.
I always always get the veggie flour quesadilla, which is like a veggie burrito, but I million times better (order with no lettuce, especially when to go) because of the extra cheese and the crispy tortilla.
My BF likes the el pastor better than the carnitas or the chile verde, but they were all tasty according to him.
And of course there is the orange sauce, which needs no further discussion.
If you are down by Best Buy or Bed, Bath, & Beyond, and need some lunch, this is the place to go.

I ended up here with my cat after Arguello Pet Hospital referred us. My cat suddenly started acting strange, so I wanted him to seen right away, even though it was a Saturday morning.
On the plus side, parking was easy, and they took the cat right away to check him out while I was filling out paper work.
But I was not at all impressed with the vet. He couldn't find anything wrong with my cat, who had decided that he was going to act just fine for the vet, and that's not the problem. The issue was the way the vet treated me, like I wasn't a good kitty mom. For example, he implied that previous vets who had examined my cat were not thorough or using the proper equipment because they hadn't told me that my cat had a heart murmur. He also lectured me because I couldn't tell him exactly my cat's eating and pooping habits because I have two cats. His whole arrogant tone rubbed me the wrong way.
They wanted to spend "about $500" for blood work and x-rays because they couldn't find anything wrong. It seemed overboard, so I paid the $90 emergency fee and left. The cat is acting fine, and if he starts having issues again, I'll take him to a regular vet for further tests.
I love my cats and all, but I am still reasonable. I have fallen into that trap of spending thousands on cat looking for things that you either can't do anything about, or don't change the treatment anyway.

Biggest veggie burger I've ever had. It was great, though, with lots of veggie toppings and a whole grain bun. No need for fries.
The place looks busy at lunch (almost no seating), but I stopped by for dinner during some bar hopping, and it was perfect for that.

I am writing this review because I was looking for this info when trying to decide where to have my birthday party this year. I had my birthday here on a Tuesday night, and it worked out really well. This is a great spot if you want to have an informal gathering. I just added the manager to my evite so he knew how many people to expect. When we arrived, they had reserved tables for us. The place is small, and about 20 of us took over about half of the place. The bar is well-rounded, the food decent with your typical burgers and fish tacos. The view is nice looking over the water, and it was in a convenient location: people working downtown could get there easily, and people coming from South Bay could find parking easily. There is a TV that plays movies or sports, and I am sure you could work something out with them if you wanted to show something special. Same goes for music, although I didn't ask for anything specific.
Lunch:
I like going here for lunch when I want a nice walk on a sunny day. It doesn't look like much from the outside (it looks like, well, a dive), but inside is surprisingly nice. The food is good and the view nice. It has your typical bar food plus some fish. There are lots of mixed drink options and wine if you are interested in a long lunch.

The friendly waiter enthusiastically recommended the scallop appetizer special, and it lived up to his description. The lamb was fine, but the duck was really good, and went well with the wine we ordered. I was disappointed by the dessert, but that was just because I don't like Amaretto, and it was waaay Ameretto-y.
Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience: nothing noticeably wrong, and providing a nice background for lots of conversation.

The booths are very private and cozy, especially with the tables being just wide enough to hold a few drinks. This is the place to go to have quiet alone time with someone or a small group: not a bar to mingle.
Two people, two hours, three rounds, including tip: $100. But worth it.

We went back the night before our flight, and of course they have trouble finding our skis. They first brought out a completely different pair of skis, and then finally ours. There was a note saying that they had called me the previous day, but I gave them my cell number so I know and they didn't. Then we realized that they had adjusted my boyfriend's bindings for my new boots, and didn't wax or edge either of them.
So, we had to drive home, pick up his boots while they waxed and edged (suddenly they need only an hour instead of a week for this), and then go back and have them adjust his bindings.
So why the four stars? Well, not only did they not charge us, they also gave us a $50 gift certificate. So they realized that they had screwed up royally and tried to make it up to us. I would have rather had my skis ready to go when I got there, but I'll take the $50 and stay a loyal Sports Basement fan.
PS: I had no idea until the guy selling my boots told me, but you always get 10% off if you have a AAA card or a 24-hour Fitness membership. I wish they would advertise that more, like when I bought my fancy new ski coat there last season.
