Don't Tell Anyone Else But...I hate when 5 stars are overused. Not every place you go is insanely awesome.

location = it looks the little skechy from the outside (located next to firestone auto in the dank liverpool plaza).
ambiance = the interior is decent: an open room with tables, very clean, with dim lighting. a tad on the tacky side, but things like that don't matter when the food is awesome.
menu and drink selection = a few indian beers, a few wines, mango drinks and lassis for drink selctions and the menu has a very wide variety of traditional dishes (tandoori breads, lamb, vegetarian, curry, tandoori, desserts, ect...). entrees range from $10-$15.
meal = so awesome. the complimentary flour chips and sauces (don't know the traditional name(s) of these) were so delicious and really got me pumped for my meal. the chips were really light, crispy, and a bit garlicy and spicy. and 3 sauces were excellent - 1 was an oniony, red sauce, 1 tasted like a pea and cilantro mix, and the other one was a brown, smokey sauce. these were all great. the cheese pakora (deep fried cheese with spices) was ok. the breading was excellent, but it was a little too dry for my liking. the garlic naan was amazing: really light and airy and crusty on the outside. and the chicken mango was very good: tender chicken, pieces of mango, and a sweet, tangy, and spicy sauce. big portions too. i have enough left over for another meal.
i want to go back right now.
5 stars? yes sir.
the service is extremely friendly too. my first time here i didn't know it was cash-only and i couldn't pay for my lunch. they let me come back the next day and pay for it. totally awesome.
cons - very small merch store that is totally cramped. below average grounds crew (it looked worn out and was prepared lackadaisically prior to the game. it was a windy day but still - there was dust flying everywhere and even directly into the players and fans eyes on some occasions). the out of town scoreboard was painful to read (it's a small screen that cycles through all mlb and milb games and takes forever to see specific game). the "main club level" seats are too far away from the field (i know the ballpark was built with the intention of landing an mlb team, but this takes away from the intimacy that makes minor league games so great). and lastly a very blase crowd (take it from a chiefs fan - even if you have a dreadful team there's no reason why you still can't clap, cheer, and heckle).
overall, it was a nice experience and the ballpark is in a superb location, but it misses on the little things that make minor league baseball fun.
overall, just a great experience. great service, great food, great location, and great vibe. just a heads up - it's a tad on the pricier side on yelp's "$$" rating scale. average entree ranges from roughly $18-$25.
my one critique is that i thought that it could have provided a bit more information on darwin himself than what was actually there, but i still enjoyed the museum none the less. i'd say the whole thing can be done in about an hour.
as a young adult, i enjoyed it way better than the science center. AND the museum of the earth was free on this particular sunday. score!

downstairs gets 4 stars. it's a little more low-key. there's no windows so it almost feels like you're in some sort of underground cave. it's a square bar (quasi-tiki none the less), so there is plenty of room chill out and to order drinks.
i haven't had the food in quite a while, but i prefer going here on the off-peak hours (weekend mornings) as it's probably one of the better places to get a pub-style brunch in boston.
they have strange hours and it's take out only (there are no tables to sit down and eat at). the place is very small and there's usually a line of people heading out the door. SO worth waiting in line for though.

also, prices on their nes games have skyrocketed since i last went in here. perhaps demand is going up, but still, i'm not paying more for an nes game than a used ps2 game.
