Treatments received:
Pedicure/manicure
Pros:
*Friendly staff
*Cheap ($25 for mani/pedi)
*They didn't make fun of me when they tickled my feet on accident with that pumice stone thing.
*The finished job looked beautiful and perfect!
Cons:
*Limited amount of funky colors for nails. Too many neutrals and pinks.
*Paint chipped within hours on two fingers
*The rest of the fingers followed suit within days
*Toes chipped after going in the pool one time
I plan to go back to this place a few more times before making a final decision. It's possible the paint chipped because I picked an old nail polish.
-Great Pho (I only tried Pho Ga and it tasted exactly how I thought it should. White meat strips and a large portion of broth made me very satisfied.
-Mongolian Beef (The only chinese entree that I tried, and it was very good but not spicy at all)
-The plus for me was the entrees come with rice. Most of the time you have to pay extra for that so I really liked that part.
-Fresh lemonade - I really have no idea if the lemonade was fresh or not, but it was definitely tasty.
-There is a nice TV in there, weird kinda, but I can see it being a really quiet place to watch a show or game. No alcohol served here, though.
Cons
-The waitress took my lemonade to give me a refill before I was done. I ordered "another" lemonade, expecting to pay another 1.95 for one as most places you have to pay separate for drinks like that. I was pleased I didn't have to pay for a refill but she took my glass and i was not even done yet. I don't know it just seemed rude at the time.
-Waiter didn't know the menu which made certain things difficult to order

Bone Daddy's
Categories: American (Traditional), Barbeque
Neighborhood: Northwest Austin
Good meats
Macaroni and cheese
Potato Salad
Relatively inexpensive ($50.00 for an appetizer, 2 combo plates and 3 beers)
Big beers, very big for $6.00
From what we could decipher from our hour or so stay at Bone Daddy's, a tramp stamp is required to get hired. I think this could be their new slogan.
--Queso de Casa
--"Some like it hot" burger (A 1/3 pound patty of 100% pure ground beef topped with Monterey Jack cheese, blazing hot jalapeño peppers and crispy bacon on our Signature Jalapeño Cheddar bun)
--Curly Fries
--Shiner Blonde 2x
Pros:
*Convenient location to the large Riata apartment complex
*Clean
*Really friendly waitstaff
*$2 domestic pints advertised
*Ladies night on Wednesday with $3 margaritas and cosmos advertised
*Jalapeno Cheddar bun was toasty, tasty and really uniquely flavored
*Bacon was crispy as advertised
*Burger was amazingly juicy and the cheese was melted perfectly.
*Burger lived up to it's hype. Amazingly delicious!
*Curly fries were cooked well and were also tasty.
Cons:
*Jalapeno burger was missing some hotness, was hoping for a super spicy sandwich
*Queso lacked some bite, tasted like nachos.
*No add-ins available for the Queso was a bummer.
This place was overall fantastic... I really enjoyed it and to think if it was not for Yelp I would have passed it by for a long time I'm sure! I will probably get the same burger next time I go... once I fall in love with something I can't experiment!
I am not disappointed at all. I had a Thursday 1:00 appointment and when I first walked in, the one nail lady there (I wish I remembered her name, she was very nice) was finishing up a pedi and I told her I had a 1:00. She said "Can you wait?" I at first took this as rude. I sat down and only had to wait about 4-5 minutes for her to finish up the pedi. She called me over and got right to work on mine. The first thing I noticed is that she was very talkative. She is not the only employee but from what I understand, during this time of year on weekdays, there is not as much business - so she is the only one there during afternoons. She was really sweet! She seemed really interested in me and my job, in a nail-lady kind of way. Even though when I walked in I was not into talking, she got me explaining my job and my love life within minutes, a cliche yet very entertaining experience!
My nails look gorgeous - I believe it was about 28 dollars for the full set/french tip (25 for a normal full set, and I believe this is very standard). I got nothing but compliments. On the 8th day, I noticed they are already starting to lift a bit on my pinkies, and that is usually a sign of a lower quality job, however, it is barely noticeable, and definitely not the worst. I plan to go back on the day of 2 and a half weeks for a fill, I hope to update on how they look then. However, it is the 8th day now and looking good. I am going to keep going back! Thanks Esthetic nails, I will be back!

Mariner Medical Center
Categories: Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Dermatologists
I was told I had a cold and to go home, but I actually had pneumonia.
Department store of second hand items
Everything is cheap, unlike Salvation Army thrift store
Sometimes you get the item for even cheaper than the price tag. I bought a mug there that said 99 cents it ended up ringing up as 47 cents.
A large selection in almost every section.
Kids clothes looked like the best selection.
Lots of records, perfect for the collector.
Cons:
Electronics may not have cords, be sure to look closely before thinking of buying.
Very small section for plus sizes.
Shoes look pretty haggard, and good luck finding the matching one if you like a pair.
Many babies with dirty diapers smelling up the place
You need at least an hour to spare if you walk into this store, even with something in mind to look for.
-Portofino Sandwich [thin sliced ham, cream cheese blended with pesto sauce on sliced sourdough topped with tomato]
-Decent chips selection
-Soda Fountain (Medium sized cups have ample room)
-They will toast your bread upon request
-Standard tuna salad on toasted sourdough is perfect
-Double stamp-card Fridays (10 stamps and you get a free one!!)
-Never too busy inside
-Lovely outdoor seating
-Location is great (The only lunch (or breakfast place for that matter) for businesses on that side of marsh road in MP
Cons:
-The croissant-wich I got once was mildly warm, cheese not melted and the bacon was soggy, haven't tried the B-fast since
-They won't accept a debit card on Fridays only (?!)
-They run out of lunch stuff before 2 PM so if you are a late-luncher like me, just remember you may have to settle for your 2nd or 3rd choice.
Burgers are great, as you would expect.
Bottomless fries
Alcoholic drinks are good
Non-alcoholic special drinks are good
TVs for watching sports
Generally fast service
To-go service is very fast!
Cons:
Loud, loud, loud!
Kids everywhere
Kids everywhere
Did I mention there are kids everywhere?
P.S.
Try the A-1 Peppercorn b urger, they just brought it back! I was pissed and boycotted the place when they removed the burger from the menu.. Oh I also wrote a mean, hate filled letter to the company. Now it's back on the menu, and I am happy.

I have to say for a convenience store, their wine selection is off the hook. They have more reasonably priced wine than HEB and some new stuff I have never seen before. I also have to mention the owner is the nicest guy , too!
