Chan Am of Crafton. A So-So Chinese restaurant. Absolutely nothing special about this place. The Lunch Special for 5.35 isn't too bad, though. I tried the General Tso's(of course) and it was not the tastiest I've ever had(-1). They are eat in and pick up only(-1).
All in All, if I'm desperate I might order again, but probably not.

Stopped here spur of the moment, glad I did.
It was a Monday night around 7, the bar was pretty full and about half of the tables were, also. Nice, Clean place. It was Yuengs and Wings Night. Buy a Yuengling for $1.35 and get a pound of wings for free. Hard to beat. I had 2 Yuengs, one order of free wings and an order of Potato Skins. Total $5.69, hahaha. The wings were really good, one piece(fiddler and drum connected). Mild was hot and spicy. A guy at the bar recommended Hot Cajun, hmmm, maybe mild cajun, hehe.
I'm definitely going back. A sign noted that after 5 on Thursdays it's AYCE Wings for $3.95.

Being born in 1970 was about perfect. Pittsburgh was becoming the City of Champions. The Steelers will always be my favorite team. I even have the logo on my neck, under my ear :D  Mostly having this tat lets me know where the Steelers bars are in other towns, as soon as someone sees it the usually tell me.

King's Family Restaurant

A typical King's. If you're from the "Burgh", then you've eaten at King's. I will base this review on my last visit. Wednesday night, 11PM, 3 other tables had patrons, so it was pretty slow. I was greeted as soon as I sat down and gave my drink/appetizer order right away. It's a new menu since the last time I was in. I was disappointed that an order of Cheese Wedges is only 3 pieces, but they only cost $3.49. My entree was Chicken Fried Steak, Mashed Potatoes(Sausage Gravy over all), Applesauce and Rolls. Everything was really good. I was stuffed but wanted just another bite. Washed down with a big ole glass of milk. Total bill was $13 and change, not bad considering how much I got.
The one waitress kept walking around picking her teeth and hustling food without washing her hands(-1). The booth right in front of me needed bussed the whole time, flies, flying around, while 3 waitresses and the manager wandered about(-1)

Hunan Wok Chinese Takeout

Hunan Wok is a strip mall Chinese joint in Kennedy Township. When walking in, you are overwhelmed by the smell of cleaning products, how dimly lit it is and a lot of the signage and calendars are dusty/dirty(-1  overall appearance) , just not real appealing. It was around 2:30 and empty. I ordered L24 General Tso's, yea I know, real adventurous, but I do ask for it Hot every time.  I was told 15 minutes, it took 20 and they were dead slow(-1). The General Tso's was about as flavorless as you could get and o, so dry(-1).  The Pork Fried Rice was actually Pork Burnt Rice, nasty(-1). I also ordered Boneless Ribs, which were pretty good. Not a lot of fat on them.
Ended up paying $13 for a lunch special that didn't come with a drink(-1).
Overall, odds of going back are a lot slimmer than me.

Porto Fino Pizzaria & Gyro

I just moved to the Crafton area a few weeks ago and get to try some new stuff, yay.

Porto Fino's is one of the Best Pizza Shop's I've had the pleasure to try and I've sampled from quite a few, hehe. They have a large menu, including 4 different styles of Pizza Pie: Traditional, Chicago, Pan and Sicilian. I've only had the Traditional so far and it is awesome. The Pepperoni Rolls are some of the Best I've ever had, also.
The only thing that I don't really care for is that all of their Chicken Hoagies are made with Skinless Grilled Chicken. Which is healthy, yay, but don't hold flavor well as in the Buffalo Chicken Hoagie, the sauce soaks into the bun and not the chicken. I'm not taking a star for that, tho. That's my preference.
All in All, PF's is top call in Crafton for me.
UPDATE: Portofino's will replace the grilled chicken with Breaded Chicken if you request it.

Pasquarelli's Pizza House

Moved into a new neighborhood, get to try some new pies :D
Pasquarelli's Pizza House jumped off of the page as the place to try. Yes, on name alone, haha. After being told that they don't deliver to me and then that they do, the actual order took place. No, you can't get double or extra pepperoni(-1 the pizza is not that good that they can dictate what you want on it) or extra cheese. No, you can't get a menu and no we are out of Hot Sausage. Too many "no's" to me. No, we don't have Coke or Pepsi. No, we don't have bottles.(-1 for all the "No's")
Large Pie with Pepperoni and Ham
2 cans of Mountain Dew
$19.18, seemed a little expensive compared to prices on Mt Wash, where this would have been $14-$16, no mas. (-1)
The delivery occurred ahead of the stated 45 minute time, delivery guy was great.
The dough was a little tough, in fact my jaw hurt after 2 slices. I tried another piece about a half hour later and it was really tasty and the crust was a bit softer. I also like the "Dirty Crust" (+1), they flip the crust down to size covering a presauced section, putting a small bit of sauce inside the crust. They sauce the crust edges sloppy and get cheese all over the top, Dirty Crust. Yummy!

I went here after reading all the great reviews here on yelp. I was not disappointed and I don't believe my companion was either. It was a Friday night around 9 and the place was packed. We got right in and was seated in less than a minute. Our server came right to us for our drink order. We both ended up ordering burgers, I had the BBQ and it was bomb, delicious. O, and they came so fast, I mean  I was expecting a long wait considering I ordered mine Medium Well. Very good all around and the bill was round $40 for 2 burgers and 4 drinks.

Poor Richards has always been a great shop to get Cloves and other silly little smokable's like Rum Runner cigars. I've been treated well even tho I used to alway have a mohawk when I went in there and considering I only bought low grade stuff, no 50 buck stogies for me.
