USAirport Sedan

Me and my boyfriend caught a ride home with the nicest driver (he was actually the owner - Ayman) from USAirport Sedans when we flew back from California last month. He was waiting by the luggage pick up area and asked if we needed a ride. We were apprehensive at first but he said it would only be $40 from Dulles back to Arlington so we decided to take our chances. Ayman led us out to his town car which was very clean and very well kept. There were pillows and bottles water waiting in the back seat. We got cozy and had a very nice conversation with him almost the whole way back to Arlington. Turns out Ayman used to fly commercial airlines and is now retired...so he started this business for extra money so he can have a nice little horse farm out in Virginia somewhere.  Super nice guy and I really appreciate that he didn't try to rip us off or anything. He does sedan service all over the DC metro area so if you need to get to or from a nearby airport give USAirport Sedans a call.

Delicious falafel sandwich, not as heavy/greasy as a lot of other places. Good Boylan's soda selection and lots of weird juices. Prices are pretty cheap. Definitely carry-out only.

I have been here to see Dr. Seema Doshi twice. First time for a mole check and today to have 2 moles biopsied and discuss some breakouts I have been having. She is very sweet, thorough and quick. She didn't keep me waiting in a little paper gown in the examination room for half an hour which I appreciate. Even arriving 10 minutes late I was in and out of there in 30 minutes or so. The front desk staff is very nice and so are all the nurses and assistants. Exam rooms were tiny but clean. Location is convenient too, just a few blocks from several metro stops.

I have seen No Doubt and Dave Matthews Band here and I can say that unless Jesus Christ himself is playing a show I probably won't come back.

PROS:
- actual venue is cool: nice big lawn, good views of the stage, 2 huge screens
- lots of bathrooms and concessions.
- they get some pretty good acts
- nice scenery.
- plenty of parking

CONS:
- traffic is a nightmare both coming and going... You would think after 14 years they might have some kind of system for getting people in and out of there in a timely fashion - they don't.
- it's expensive $9.50 to $13 for a beer, $6 for french fries and $11 for a personal sized pizza, just to give you an idea.
- you can't bring anything in, it's like going to the airport... according to the livenation website you can bring, blankets, chairs less than 9" off the ground, food that will fit in a gallon ziploc bag and 1 SEALED bottle of water 32oz or less.
- inconvenient location 35 - 40 minutes from DC with NO traffic.

Overall a big clusterfuck, not worth the drive out there.

Not the best pizza I have ever had and definitely not the worst.  Generous slice sizes and LOTS of toppings...I had to eat my pizza with a knife and fork.
Prices aren't too bad $2.50 - $3.60 a slice and salads are about $4. The line was really long and service was a little scatterbrained but everyone in line seemed a little scatterbrained too. If you've been waiting in line for 25 minutes you should know what you want by the time its your turn.
Only pizza place near my work so Ill probably come back but only during work hours.

From Great Falls to Nepal! Everything you need for hiking, backpacking, camping whatever, this place has it! The people that work here are all very nice and friendly and genuinely seem eager to help you. HELP YOU not talk you into a $600 jacket and fleece. I just came here for a crazy creek camp chair to take to a concert and the sales guy was super helpful when I called ahead to make sure they had them. Put me on hold for about a minute and came back with prices and info and everything they carried. I like that Causal Adventure is a small family owned operation and I will definitely be back to when I need more outdoor gear.

Slow service with an attitude and a lot of old tourists. Took over 20 minutes to get 3 beers. And they have a dress code?! Get the hell out of town.

Me and my friends came here for a late dinner one night because we were toolazy to walk anywhere else (we were staying at the Marriott Courtyard on the same black). The pizza was kind of heavy and not very good but I didn't really have the highest expectations going into a place called the "Fisherman's Pizzeria" anyway. Service was kind of flighty which was bad cause we were the only people in there. Also the bill was pretty high, 1 small and 1 medium pizzas with a few toppings, 2 sodas and a beer set me back almost $50.

Hotel Stratford

I will say the room itself was not amazing. It was very small and no-frills. It was pretty quiet though and served it's purpose. Only real complaint about the room would be that there was no view and the shower was really really tiny...but it's not like you spend all your time showering and looking out the window so who cares? The bed was pretty comfortable too.

The Hotel Stratford was very cheap ($87 a night - found on http://kayak.com) and extremely convenient. The BART was 2 blocks away and the cable car was literally right outside. There was also lots of shopping and food options right outside the hotel doors.

Continental breakfast was a little sad - just toast, muffins, granola and yogurt with coffee and juice. It is free though so I can't complain too much. We did get a really yummy breakfast right across the street at Lori's Diner so maybe check that out if you need a more substantial meal.

For as cheap and convenient as the Stratford was I would definitely stay here again .

Very cool place to come for dinner and drinks. Awesome retro diner atmosphere with an upscale twist. Ate at the bar tonight with my boyfriend after I picked him up from screen printing class around the corner. The bartender (Jake) was super nice and friendly but not all up in your business. Just a n outgoing, friendly dude.  I got the She-Crab soup and house salad with homemade peanut dressing. Both were very yummy even though the soup had a few tiny little crab shell pieces in it. Also I loved the spoon they gave me for my soup- it was shaped like a fish! So the bartender said I could take it home... SCORE! John got the Cuban sandwich which he really enjoyed and said was much lighter than he expected it to be.

Only downside... you can smoke in there... GET WITH THE TIMES VIRGINIA! I am sick of your cigarette smoke while I'm eating!
