The High Street Pub is one of the best things to have ever happened to Bellefonte. It's a great little restaurant with FANTASTIC food. Brunch is served until 9pm and is DELICIOUS. Seasonal drink list highlights local and fun specials. On cold nights, grab a seat by the fire. There is a big television to watch the game. The restaurant accommodates large parties. Live music some nights.

Terrific coffee in a great Bellefonte location. Free wifi, great chai and friendly service. This is my favorite lounging spot in town.

The Bike Repair class is essential for all cyclists. Very informative and helpful.

Don't use them. Just don't. The pricing is inconsistent, the service is shady, and they are very rude.

I have been converted.

I needed paint to touch up the walls of my apartment (the former tenant wrote on the walls - probably when high - lovely) and I only had a tiny paint chip. The team at this store worked very hard to mix exactly the write shade of off-white to match. They tried again and again and when I said "close enough," they said, "no, it's too yellow" and tried again. They worked much harder than most people would for only a $6 sale. I just finished painting over the former tenants poetic musings, and guess what? The color is perfect! I love this store!

Aside from mixing paint, they also make keys and have all hardware essentials. Great neighborhood hardware store. Much better than Economy, easily.

I like Trader Joe's, I especially like this Trader Joe's, but overall, I am not thrilled. I appreciate the organic, gluten-free, vegan-friendly food, sure, but I have a lot of complaints about Trader Joe's.

I strongly dislike Trader Joe's business practice of copying distributors products and then killing that product. Trader Joe's will stock a certain item from a certain distributor, say a BBQ sauce. If the sauce sells well, eventually Trader Joe's will come out with a very similar BBQ sauce, often with a similar label (the label part really makes me angry). Customers sometimes don't notice. Soon enough, the non-TJ BBQ sauce is gone! Trader Joe's stomps on its own clients. Not cool.

Also, watch out for the labels! Not all vegan-friendly or dairy-free food is in fact vegan-friendly or dairy-free. As always, buyer beware. Read the ingredient label to be sure of what you're getting.

One perk - BIG perk - beer and wine! This Trader Joe's stocks a nice variety of beer and wine for your dinner needs. The prices for Lindemann's Frambroise and Duvel, for example, are very reasonable too.

This particular Trader Joe's has a dangerous parking lot. Despite signs urging drivers to watch out for pedestrians, they usually don't. They sometimes ignore other drivers as well. The parking lot is in an awkward location off an even more awkward street, so I understand the driving confusion, but be careful!

I live a block from this Trader Joe's so I'm there often, despite my complaints.

Flour, oh Flour, I love you. When I lived in the South End, this was my must-go spot every weekend. I would pick up a sugar brioche and a Thai iced tea. I recently moved out of the South End, though. I had been craving Flour for weeks so I went there July 4. I rented a Zipcar, drove miles and miles just for a sugar brioche and Thai iced tea. Well, wouldn't you know it? They were closed for renovations! Whoops, my fault. I will be back this weekend because, Flour, my stomach misses you.

Yummy burritos! With plantains! Very cheap, very tasty and usually very fast. The restaurant itself is small, but the outside seating is great on a warm night. Their fountain soda is really damn good too.

Great Indian food in the South End. They understand the differences between mild, medium and HOT! (I like it hot.) My favorite is the butter chicken. Mela makes terrific naan. The waiters are nice, even if they are slow. I don't know of much service of the South End that isn't fairly slow, though, so I expected this.

When I lived in the South End, right around the time they opened, I was eating there about once a week and my tummy was very happy!
