Top immigration lawyer. Chris Wright handled my visa and greencard applications with awesome results. Thanks to these guys I may remain in this fine land of opportunity! Maybe one day I'll be Big in America too.

Wow, that's harsh Trisha! I like these people. If you need to grab flowers in the FiDi there are a number of stands, but this little place does the job as good as any.

Huh, what are you guys talking about? Looks like the Metreon cinema is one of those places in SF it's cool to dislike. So it's a big corporate cinema without a great deal of personality. But it does that well. And hey if you're seeking an engaging local experience in a plush environment, why are you watching a movie? Comfortable seats, good availability, efficient ticket purchasing, and it's right here downtown at Mission and 4th. After an evening showing, pause to take in a view of the downtown skyline with illuminated SFMOMA and Yerba Buena Gallery in the foreground. If you want to watch a mainstream movie this seems as good a place as any. And as for the comments about only showing run-of-the-mill movies, I caught Howl's Moving Castle and Ong-Bak here.

Look out for this new hotspot opening Summer 06, promising 22,000 ft of dancing and dining. I also heard they're building a private residence attached to the club for guests. SF awaits.

Health drink launched by 6 people out of an office in Potrero Hill, San Francisco. It's made with the Brazilian Acai berry which apparently has more antioxidants than pomegranate, blueberries etc. The drink is tasty and I like their vibe. Wholefoods has taken them on. Go start ups!

Wow! There are still firsts to be found on Yelp in SF! This shoe store has a great range of outdoor brands, well-organized and with helpful, non-intrusive staff. Ecco, Merrell, Mephisto, etc. I walk 3 miles per day so I needed something durable and supportive. But I live on Telegraph Hill not Mount Tam so I don't want to look like a frickin' hiker every day. They have a range by a company called Havava Joe, who make stylish, soft leather day shoes but are super-comfortable. I settled on a pair of Keen's - a local company, based in Alameda. Keen are ideal if you're over-pronated - they have a sturdy sole and arch support.

Stumbled upon this place while exploring the Maiden Lane clothes stores. If you work downtown this is a real gem for picking up all manner of culinary wonders. Picked up a frittate plate, heat-resistant rubber tongs and a knife sharpener. They do have top-of-the-range things but contrasted with cheaper options too. I got great advice from Bob who helped me find what I needed quickly and didn't push the most pricey option.

Tonight this trendy London lingerie store opened its doors in San Francisco! Started about 10 years ago by the son of Vivienne Westwood they now have quite a following. In Europe they are nearly as big as me! Pricey, but you get what you pay for: creative, striking, hot designs made with quality fabrics and great attention to detail.
