Extra-fantabulous meals: grilled mahi mahi, grilled prawns and seared scallops in baby arugula with mango and avocado. Love their spin on huevos rancheros too.
Fair warning: it's hard to get a table around dinnertime because the place is so tiny. Check the website for specials (updated daily). Yum

I was overwhelmed by the menu because everything looked really yummy. The bartender overheard me saying that I wished there were a tasting menu so I would not have to make decisions. Lucky us! We went with the 5 course tasting menu ($50) + wine pairings ($30) and let them surprise us with every course. And, each course was full of great surprises. The flow was: Raw Kampachi, Wild Bison Loin Tataki, Romesco Oil Poached Halibut, Pork Belly, Grilled Prime Hanger Steak, a sorbet course and a dessert course which was a tasting unto itself.
The food was fantastic, wine pairings were perfect, service was impeccable. Can't wait to go back.

expensive i 'spose at $150 but seriously worth every penny.
i have very thin/fine/flat uncooperative hair and now you'd never know.
thanks yelpers for the great reviews or i never would have found this amazing place around the corner. love the products too.
5 stars seem insufficient.

the first reeeally good nectarines i found in NY
prices are incredible
the insanely long lines are insanely long and that part completely sucks
but they don't lose any stars for that
i don't even mind the working 3 hours a month part.
hauling boxes around and stocking gorgeous organic and/or minimally treated local-ish produce once a month is a nice change of pace.
when i joined the coop i realized that i don't actually live in brooklyn - i live in berkeley.
then i went across the street to the tea lounge and i knew for sure.

why am i charged random prices for regular 'ol coffee when it clearly states on the wall: all sizes $1.75
why would anyone buy a muffin here more than twice? why did i? denial? yes. plus the coffee over at at la bageltique tastes like something brewed at a sewage reclamation plant, so you do what you gotta sometimes.
political aside: i appreciate that all the coffee houses in park slope support the mentally disabled by giving them jobs

Tea Lounge

then i went back and i hated the tea lounge because there was no place to sit
then i loved it again because i had a really good salad and had a place to sit
then they changed the free wi-fi to some retarded ad supported super-slow retarded thing and i hated the tea lounge for logging me out of IRC every 6.5 minutes
then i went back again stood in line for too long when i was hung over and had some really good coffee and a massive fresh squeezed orange/carrot juice and a yummy muffin and saw the sea of macbooks and i got sentimental about all the macs and i loved it again even though there was no place to sit

I have found this dentist to be uniquely conscientious both in terms of the dental work and dealing with my insurance. 2 root canals, a crown and 2 cleanings later and I am still smiling.
