This place just opened a few days ago. It is a 24 hour joint that is a mix between Maxwells and Jimmy's Red Hots. Like the two restaurants I just mentioned this place has hotdogs, polishes, hamburgers, pork chops, and tamales. Ody's takes it a step further with their menu however and offer addtional foods such as italian beef, italian sausage, shakes, omelets, and a host of other breakfast foods. Ody's hotdogs are Chicago style made with vienna beef that cost $2.29 for a single and $2.99 for a double. Along with the hotdog i tried their fish sandwich($1.89) and cheeseburger($2.99) all of which were good.
My only gripe about the place is that they only have outside seating, but most of these type of restaurants normally don't- I just think it would be kinda hard eating an omelet standing up. All in all Ody's is a great pick if you happen to be in the Belmont Central neighborhood and you don't feel like driving to Jimmy's or Maxwell's for a late night snack.- Not to mention it's located in a bit safer neighborhood ; )
