Prices weren't terrible for how upscale it feels inside. There were definitely a lot of well dressed folks sipping wine though. Food was okay, service was pretty good. There's a full bar, which was nice. Actually the mixed greens salad with vinaigrette was my favorite.

Another ordinary Indian shop. Dinner for two with cokes and garlic naan was something like $33, which wasn't worth it. There was only one person working up front, who also left at some point to deliver some food down the street on foot. This made the wait for our check frustratingly long.

Every Thai place you've ever been to, but a bit less feeling like you're in a strip mall. Fast service, even when it's full, although slow on refilling the water. They have brown rice, which is always a plus.

I don't know what the space looked like before, but the reusing of the old space got too much attention spent on making it look like it was the reuse of old space. There's a good number of dead ends and you have to go exploring to find everything. There are many diagonal structural beams you have to duck under. These aren't charming, the space isn't charming, the racks should be up against these rather than these be the walkway.

There were at a minimum of four sales people sitting around chatting with each other. They approached me with less zeal this time than when I first checked out the store, which was nice. I'm pretty sure they work on commission. When I was waiting in line to checkout there was only one cashier and the hordes of sales folk didn't come over to help with the checkout line. I was also specifically asked by the cashier if anyone had helped me with my purchases today.

The walls are covered with tall photographs of extreme atheletes. Like one guy who's a professional offroad/trick unicyclist. Yet 75% of the clothing I found in the store was expensive and preppy. I definitely didn't want to spend that much on a shirt and then wear it while trying to learn to unicycle.

They did have some synthetic long underwear, and it was downtown. Points for convenience.

Nice place, short wait for a table for two. Ended up sitting at a bar like thing for lunch. The food was pretty good. Vegetarian options, the field roast sandwich had a little too many spreads on it which made the bread a little soggy by the time I got to it. I think the sandwich was vegan, I think you would be fine finding an option here.

Would buy again.

Your average anywhere thai. We called to see when they would be open until and she said if we were ordering take out she'd stay open for us until 8:30. This seemed nice, until we got there and everything said they were open until 9pm. So be careful as it sounds like they may close early if they think it's a slow night.

The food was fine. The yellow curry was specifically missing any sign of potato. The brown rice seemed odd, but was a nice touch over your standard white/jasmine at most places.

The menu says free delivery, didn't ask about it though.

Pizza Fusion - CLOSED

Pretty decent pizza. I tried a Farmer's Market and a custom pizza: green peppers and mushrooms. Both were with soy cheese, the latter was preferable. The Farmer's Market is topped with whatever is "fresh" ours had broccoli on it and some other bits.

The place definitely thinks too highly of itself. A bit fancy indoors, definitely part of the new "replace capitol hill with condos" market. The stall in the men's room had a list of where different materials in the construction of the restaurant came from to convince you that they're Green and if you're a good person you will eat there and feel better about yourself.

Get rid of all the hair-shirt green ethos, cut the excessive prices down as a result and it'd be better deal.

Like nothing else, seeing a Dunkin Donuts again reminds me that I'm back on the east coast when I'm flying back to see the family. I almost always stop at this location and relish ordering simply a 'small black' again.

English is definitely a second language at this establishment. Be very clear about what you want when you make food orders. They had a manager scurrying about translating for most of the cashiers.

I had heard there was a barbershop in the building I worked in, so I searched for it. What a great find. It's only a few floors down from my office, but it's exactly the kind of barbershop I've been looking for in downtown Seattle.

It's a very comfortable setup, with a nice few. Clean and very friendly. Brian is hardworking, fair, and gives a great haircut. He runs the kind of shop that feels like a you are in local neighborhood barber even though you're sitting in a high-rise in a big city.

Best dive in the area. I write off most of the University District but find myself hiding out here. Lots of space, great dark underground atmosphere. Decent bartenders, and a better than average selection of bar food.
