I'm used to the simple, non-pretentious atmosphere of my favorite Indian restaurant, India Palace, so my first impression of Masalas was "Wow, this is going to be expensive." -- The place is nicely decorated and inviting. It is considered a trendy Indian restaurant in the area now.
Now, let's get to the menu: Long and confusing. For people who are not Indian cuisine connaisseurs it will make no difference if it's North Indian, South Indian or whatever. Like Ruchi's, I found the menu to be just too big and I believe that a good restaurant should have a small menu of excellent dishes (too much chef Ramsey for me, I guess).
My husband tried the chicken pakoras that turned out to be very good. He also had some lentil soup, which he claimed was very hot, but not very good.
Me? I tried their kabuli nan (Indian bread with nuts and raisins) and I liked its freshness. I also had shahi paneer, which is cheese in a very mild, very tasty sauce. Very good overall.
The chai is creamy and you can sweeten it up to your liking.
I liked it, but for much less I can get the same quality at India Palace.
The lunch buffet is pretty decent, but if you really want to see what good Indian is, you better ask for a menu. Make sure you drink their Chai... Mmmm!
My signature dish: Beef Korma. That's what I usually ask for. And their Chicken Biryani is pretty good as well.
I didn't know what to order that would be a hit with me, so I ended up getting a Bird to the Wise sandwich (turkey, hot pastrami, swiss cheese on toasted onion bun with mayo). It comes with waffle chips and pickles. I enjoyed it for the most part, but of course the hot pastrami made it too greasy. So I'll make sure I don't order the same next time.
This is a place I would definitely visit again to try more of their menu.

The only thing I ordered was an appetizer platter with empanadas and flautas, and they weren't too bad except for the fact that they were a little too salty for my taste. I liked the tortilla chips and the salsa a lot, and their margaritas are actually big and good. My husband and my friends had the fish tacos, and I think everyone liked them.
The service was OK, the place is nice, I liked the fireplace. The only problem is that I came out of that restaurant feeling like I was the one who cooked because my clothes were stinking. We need more vents?
Not too shabby, really.

Food is good, though. I recommend the Volcano: Baked crab, white fish and yamagobo, topped w/motoyaki sauce, sriracha and eel sauce. And you definitely have to order the edamame.
If you pick a better time to go, you will enjoy your meal. Not just at "rush hour."
The owner is a talkative man who will make sure you are having a good time and enjoying your food. Great buffet selection.

I love going to Casa Paloma, with the rustic deco, the articles hanging on the wall praising the place. I also loved all the family photos posted on the tables by the owners.
They now have a new owner, and the tamales aren't like they used to be, but the restaurant is, by all means, one of the best Mexican places in town.
I will review again when I try more of their menu.

I loved it. The service is great, everyone is so attentive. Our waiter did a wonderful job, kept our glasses full, recommended the best on the menu and kept those delicious thin chips coming. The salsa is awesome, I added some Cholula.
I had the Parmesan Crusted Shrimp Quesadillas. Very tasty! The Parmesan cheese adds a very special flavor to the tortillas, and the shrimp is seasoned almost to perfection with peppers and tomatoes.
I will definitely go back.
